It's clear APC instructed traditional media agencies not to post polling unit result sheets, noticed they stopped releasing results around this time during the presidential elections and this round of the elections confirms it. It's a shame APC is doing everything in their power to prevent us from having transparent elections.

Before the presidential election, most LP supporters were bullying everybody that don't agree with them. When some of us told them they're doing the wrong thing, they descended on us. Now APC supporters are bullying and intimidating everybody that don't agree with them.

Be careful what you support. You don't know tomorrow.

Fooolish submission comparing online rants to physical assaults. Drawing unequal parallels.

What's the update on Lagos state? 👀
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 9:11pm On Mar 18, 2023
When some of us talk about these things ; it sounds like wailing to some people but some of us say these things in order not to have a repeat of some sad incidents that happened in the past .

This profiling of people of a thing happened to my dad’s elder brother ; Alhaji the night MKO Abiola’s death was announced . The man is a muslim and was on his way home that evening when the mob action started .

Abiola’s death had been made official and most Yorubas in Lagos went on rampage attacking any Hausa man that comes their way . Alhaji was on jalabiya , Jejely making his way home when the fracas started . The mob he met on his way profiled him as Hausa and already descended on him before he even knew what their grouse with him was. Immediately he could make sense of their motives ; he started shouting at the top of his voice that he was Yoruba o(of course in Yoruba language ) . Some of them weren’t convinced he was and thought he was just a northerner who had stayed long in Lagos . He had to say some proverbs in Yoruba before they were finally convinced and let him go while apologizing and moving on seeking for the next victim .

The next day we were at his place to see the bruises on him, the man was just grateful to God he’s alive to tell the story .

These are the sad events some of us would not want to and do not believe should happen in 2023 cos of politicians trying to win elections in a democracy we all cried for back then .

Inec has done better with the upload of results to IREV. If they had done this with the presidential, perhaps the result would be different.

I honestly don't think so but who knows.

I've not been following the results coming out of Lagos.

The way the results are being uploaded on INECs viewing portal makes it very difficult to track.

This sounds funny considering that the victims can simply prove their tribe by showing their PVC.

All this internet stories
So you have to prove your tribe before voting in Nigeria?

The way many people support evil here during this election is revealing enough.

I remember when disstroy said laride deserved the delay of salaries he is experiencing under APC govt for being a staunch supporter of the same evil party. Many of you became angels that preaches and condemns bad. Today na the same people dey celebrate and undermine the effects of the thug attacks because it favours a party that they don't even get any direct benefit from.

If APC govt happens to any of you now, you will come here seeking for pity from even those of us you laughed at for complaining over APC hook or crook method of power grabbing.

Inec has uploaded more than half of the votes. Anyone following should be able to make a decent prediction or at least tell us where how things stand.

This could’ve been Nostradamus o. This bros is even an APC card carrying member and his APC membership card didn’t save him from having his head burst up cos he’s not Yoruba .

This is the danger of profiling

My statement was clear. The argument was almost impossible comsidering that you can show the thugs your PVC.I was being wary of certain stories

It doesn't validate or approve of the behavior

A popular food blogger sisi_Yemmie was profiled alongside her husband by thugs for “looking like igbos “ and weren’t allowed to vote in Lagos , Nigeria . It’s not an internet story , it’s what happened . She filmed the incident .

If u still have data that can watch video, go to Twitter or instagram and search for the video .

For your information, the lady’s name is Yemisi and her husband Yomi .

Look at u talking about Using PVC to verify their names as if thugs should even be doing such verification in the first place 🤦‍♂️
He said they needed to prove their tribe.

Imagine how shameless these people are in supporting evil.

I liked how you advised him to go and watch only if he can afford the data. SMH

At least let him be the judge and tell us he still think it’s stage . That a lady who has no point to prove to anyone and her husband left their homes to stage a video with thugs to give as content to her teeming fans .

TBH, this country is almost impossible to save.
I have repeated it severally here.
The best thing you can do to yourself if you are yet to leave this country is to avoid wahala.

The act of requesting someone identity or tribe is bad. The story is not so plausible

Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Donjazet2: 9:37pm On Mar 18, 2023
Maybe it's the brashness with which I push my messages that make it not resonate.

Because it's goddamn funny seeing people who vociferously condemned me for exposing certain things here now turn around to act surprised and now lamenting, seeing what I was saying and warning against for a such a long time.

Time truly reveals all. cheesy

There are people who are employed by government yet they're not doing the work expected of them, we have masons who will steal your building blocks and cement, carpenters who will steal your planks, bankers who will defraud banks and customers, civil servants who will inflate contracts and collect bribe, traders who will give you half-measure and defective goods; how can a country progress when majority are criminals and potential criminals?
There is no fear of God amongst the religious and the non-religious says the end justify the means.

This country is filled with tribalists. People who blame a tribe for all their life frustration and curses

Please, do well to quote me when you reply my mentions. I'll be grateful

So how does a carpenter who is religious and does not steal planks change this country as an individual?

It is very easy to type motivational quotes from the comfort of your QWERTY keypad, you know.
