It was not built up by any single tribe but by virtue of being the administrative, economic, entertainment and cultural headquarters of the biggest country in Africa. It's shape and form is made up of soo many diverse ethnic groups.
You go to California, you see china town, indian village, latin American strongholds, black suburbs,. Same with newyork that has Irish strongholds, Italian strongholds, Chinatown, Russian suburbs and the likes. A true melting pot.

So please stop being stupid. When you enter Lagos, places like ojo local government and alimosho have been entirely dominated by igbos that you will think you've stepped into Anambra state. You also have alausa dominated by northerners and then other parts. That is what it means to be a megalopolis, So cry me a river. Lagos is indeed no man's land. A naturalized lagosian has more rights than an immigrant from ekiti or Oyo. He was born there, he belongs there.

He resigned his position and when asked by pressmen what informed his decisions he informed them it was the need for him to concentrate on his election which necessitated his resignation .

Now the wife being a card carrying member of APC comes out and makes an allegation that Gbadebo having won the Labour Party governorship primaries “removed” her husband from being the chairman and didn’t stop there but “took all Yoruba house of reps tickets in Lagos state and replaced them with Igbos “

Now the question that begs an answer is who is lying between the husband and the wife ? I really do not know if u ask me, but we need to be mindful of the following points :

1. It makes sense for a man who is the party chairman and also a candidate in the election to face either the chairmanship or the election he’s contesting in.

2. There is no evidence to suppost the wife’s claim that all Labour house of reps candidates who are igbos were replaced with Yorubas. Someone share a list of the candidates here and most of the names on it are Yorubas . Even Sunny Ade’s son (whose father is Yoruba from Ondo ) won the house of reps election in his constituency that is even dominated by Igbos .

3. The new chairman of Labour Party in Lagos Pastor Mrs Dayo Ekong is Yoruba herself replacing a Yoruba man in a Yoruba state .

4. Kayode Salako after he resigned his post as Lagos state chairman was elevated to the position of Special Adviser on Lagos Affairs and Liaison operations to the National Chairman of the party. He promised to continue to work for the good of the party .

I read many annoying attacks on anyone that supported Tinubu on social media and most of the attacks were from people of a specific region. I didn't take it seriously until subsequently I had to cross the t's and dotted the i's.
