Niger Delta governors are mostly bastards, they'd do no such thing.
Some have moved for it. It needs to come from the federal government with Force. Osibanjo made a statement about them relocating but didn't follow through with it. Imagine in a village with Shell facility on ground drilling oil and yet dey don't have any physical office or structure in place.

Sometimes I really wish one could open my brain and see exactly how I'm seeing or visualizing things.

The moment you start seeing Lagos for what it is, which is a mega city like London, Sydney, newyork, the more you can rationalize that it ought to have outgrown tribalism.

The worst part is that it's not even the indigenous lagosians themselves that are raising this much dust because ironically enough, the most prominent indigenous lagosians lined up behind Rhodes vivor. The candidate which APC tribalists painted as a trojan horse.

Ask yourself this, will a Londoner like ibime be offended if a Liverpudlian called London a no man's land. Or a newyorker be offended if a south dakotan called newyork a no man's land?

And again, we're not talking about origin or history of state but current demographic makeup of the city.

He never get the memo up till now.

To win election in Delta, you must join PDP...I was actually thinking this election will not be easy for Pdp but look at the result...Apc could only win 4 out of 25 LG
PDP lost in Delta in the Presidential elections.

APC won 2 out of the 3 Senate seats.

APC losing Delta Governorship relates to the candidacy of Omo Agege not exciting Deltans. . .not that PDP is invincible or anything.

Yea, but these things are beyond just saying it's our oil so you must be headquartered here, the governors need to do the work to incentivize these companies to set up shop there too, and then they can begin to somewhat mandate it. Niger Delta governors are just mostly bastards, those guys should be doing better.

The fact that Ibori was pushed aside speak volumes... Sheriff is not that exciting either.

As regards the senate...Pdp single handedly throw Delta south away...it was there for the taking if only they brought an Isoko candidate

Nigeria should have more cities allowed and built to function like Lagos, as long as it's only Lagos that functions the way it does in Nigeria, these sort of things will not stop. Abundance kills strife.

Donjazet is an Igbo man, GRV is a Yoruba man and an ethnic Lagosian...you guys only hate this guy because he's saying ethnic Lagosians should have a say in the state's politics tongue
airmark:

And the Lying Party knew this and still gave the gubernatorial ticket to a bigot. They should repeat it in 2027 by giving the ticket to Donjazet.

Nigeria is more than 200 million population.

Why do people doubt Nigeria population numbers? Every population research has indicated that Nigeria has over 200 million population.

Dude, for the umpteenth time I repeat, Calabar was a former FCT, but if you ever dare insinuate it's a no man's land, you'd have body parts littered along the streets, especially in Calabar South.
You don't have to take my word for it - ask any non-indigeous person you know to utter that on the streets of Calabar then give us a feedback in 24 or 48 hours.smiley
Do you approve of the bolded? Because the way you describe it gleefully suggests that you are in support of that kind of violent mob reaction.

Collations will be harder, tougher and probably prone to manipulation and misappropriation.

In a local government, you are collating State HOA elections, Federal House of Representatives elections, Senate elections, Governorship elections, Presidential elections. It will be too much to handle.

I get your point. But nothing stops INEC from hiring more hands for the collation of those results.

Of the 4 inconclusive governorship elections, the one in Adamawa will witness the greatest electoral miracle ever 🤣
You can bet that the powers that be would do everything to ensure that the printer of the ballot papers and relative of Aisha Buhari wins

I hope the governor of Lagos will do the right thing by releasing the traditional ruler. Eze mozie did the right thing by challenging those thugs.

It is just a matter of time before other regions copies the Lagos template.

Chairman you have been on the side of truth whilst supporting your party APC, I remember your candid assertion putting the blame for APC losing lagos in Presidential poll rightly as APC people not turning up. As an APC partyman on ground in Lagos, where you aware of any plans by the Igbo to takeover lagos and depose our King?

I had warned repeatedly regarding this Tribal ish, and we all should cos The only thing necessary for evil to triumph in the world is that good men do nothing.

If you check my post on Saturday evening, I said it here that Sanwo-Olu would’ve won the gubernatorial election regardless and was disappointed with the direction the election took.

Now you need to understand that Yorubas don’t joke with their land ownership, in fact most of the wars that Yorubas has fought in our history is because of land issues. A Yoruba man in Awori cannot go to Egbaland and call it a no man’s land even though both of them are indigene of Ogun State and are both Yorubas. Calling Lagos a no man’s land is a provocation and when Peter Obi won in the Presidential election, there were a lot of rhetorics to that effect especially online.

I am a firm believer in democracy and that everyone should be able to vote for whoever they want and whenever they are without bullying or intimidation and I condemn in its entirety what happened on Saturday in some part of Lagos.

What happened on Saturday was more about making a statement than any other thing.

Meanwhile there’s no way Igbos will take over Lagos when the Yorubas are the clear majority in the state.

Insecurity due to their dubious activities. Every IOC headquarters should be located at the regions where they operate. You can't be operating in peoples community where your activities affect their environments badly while, you run to another region to site your headquarters. Let them stay there and feel what the people of the region feel, engage the youths and provide some basic amenities for them. Some of these IOCs dubious activities have in the time past lead to youth restiveness in those regions.
