So no one is going to tell you the stocks they are buying until they have gotten their fill and are ready to dump on you.
You can liase with Mcy or Pa Emma to add you to theirs.
many thanks for this information .

all the 3 major candidates agreed to remove fuel subsidy, PH refinery will be working soon and if dangote refinery comes on board i believe there will be less pressure on fx demand and gradually things will take shape. There will likely be increase in social spending in all ramifications and i expect the health sector, construction sector, the transportation sector, the agricultural sector, the fintech and power sector to benefits greatly from this. We would have around 4trilion naira that would be on social spending. Though at first it may be hard but as time goes on thing will get shape. Am of the opinion that the subsidy should be removed but all our refinery should be working to complement that of Dangote
it won't be as easy as one would expect.... NIGERIA government is too slow in policy implementation and I pray the next government don't spend 7 months looking for competent ministers. I know the pain will last for 2 years and some months.....the next administration have alot of baggages to carry from the current government mess.

I have prepared myself because it will be rough.

While browsing, I stumbled upon "The Ponzi Factor," a book whose author argues that, apart from dividend-paying stocks, the stock market operates like a Ponzi scheme. According to the author, when it comes to stocks that don't pay dividends, investors purchase them with the hope of selling them at a higher price to someone else, and the market requires a steady stream of new investors to sustain profits for existing investors. The book made some compelling points, and I recommend giving it a read as it's a concise read.

It sparked a different thought in me: If I had invested 15 million in UCAP in 2020, I would be receiving nearly 700k+ per month in dividends, which is similar to what Shell SPDC contract office workers in Port Harcourt earn each month. This translates to a passive 57% return on initial investment.

In 2020, I purchased UCAP at 2.62 Naira per share, although some individuals may have acquired it at a lower price. UCAP provided a dividend payment of 1.5 Naira per share last year. Thus, a 15 million Naira investment would result in a 8.5 million Naira return, which translates to approximately 715,000 Naira per month over 12 months. Better than working a 9 to 5 in a lot of jobs.

The question is, how many people invested 15 million in UCAP at N3? The few that did most likely sold when it hit N10 for a nice 250% return while also pocketing some juicy dividends along the way.

I now people here bought UCAP at cheap rates but there is difference between investing N500k and N15M

Rome wasn't built in a day......and,
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a step.

That was a good plan if you asked me because not all are traders.
We have those who invest for passive income, so such plan is a good one in my opinion.

Even if you buy at N10, with regular cashflow and, if you're consistent and keeps increasing your stake, you'll be earning something on monthly basis I Blv. smiley
