justwise: You know one thing with us is that when you tell men to pay application fee, they run away lol, so this agents changed the pattern to free admission so as to lure them in. This country do not verify documents. They work with what they have. When i created this thread, I stated documents for visa application. It's quite unfortunate that the visa was denied. I think fake documents worked for him earlier. It's only the new police certificate that can easily be verified, other documents I doubt. That's why when you come in here, you gats do another medical exam before you apply for permit. Just know that this money is gone... let him try to dialogue with him, let the agent reapply for him at later time when things gets back to normal. This is my suggestion though. Its well |

justwise: The fact is that all documents were fodged, simple. |
Re: Mauritius Study And Work by Henix(m): 4:10pm On Mar 22, 2023 |
mekanta7: And it's the reason for the visa denial. Having established that all the documents were forged, does that not make the guy(agent) a criminal/scammer? He collected 300k from his fellow Nigerian just to print and submit fake documents. Some people are heartless and evil 1 Like |

Slimfeez: How on earth do people get scammed in an explicit travel thread like this. I explained everything from page 1 down here. On previous pages, I saw how people were rushing and asking to be added into groups, I just kept quiet. Some folks here messaged me and I answered them. I normally tell folks to browse and write schools directly. If you want someone's help, just know nothing comes for free, but still you should know when a person is fraudulent. 2 Likes |

Portlouis: Hahaha, you're making it sound a bit funny. I know you've healed though. I've been scammed twice my brother, and I know how it feels. I know if you had produced these documents yourself and still got denied, you won't have much of a doubt. It's well. I don't know if this your agent works at all in this Island, atleast his monthly salary should be enough to refund you for damages. |

Wow, I thought most of this process can be done on your own, what is the role of an agent, sorry to those swindled. Also, I am travelling to Mauritius soon, and wanted to know about this Freelance Visa, do you apply over there or you can apply from here? |

UPDATE @justwise @davous @mekanta @bola01234 Dear all, Kindly note that Davous is not a scammer like I initially expoused. I called the school (BSP) and they confirmed he really sent my applications. From my investigations, the problem was from Mauritian immigration as they have clamped down on Nigerian applicants. I have also settled amicably with Davous and he has refunded my money. Please disregard my initial outburst. @justwise, please remove him from the scammers thread. It was just a transaction gone wrong and I was caught up in between. Mauritius is rejecting Nigerians now even those with legit documents. Once again, Davous has refunded me and from my investigation with the school, I believe he is not a scammer. Thank you all and sorry for the inconvenience. @Justwise, thank you for the swift intervention. @bola01234, thank you for your advice. |

Portlouis: Good to hear that he has refunded you, i will remove his details from that thread and delete those posts here as soon as others get their money too, you are just one among many he taken money from and did not deliver. Currently there are two other people with case with him We are not done yet, many of the documents you paid for and he supplied are forged. I;m glad you got your money back and settled with him 3 Likes |

Portlouis: Let him also refund others the same way he has refunded u. Someone proved here that he used fraudulent documents to apply for admission/visa on your behalf, after he fraudulently collected 300k from you. I wonder what we will now call such a person, since he is no longer a fraudster, according to ur definition 2 Likes |

Slimfeez: It is expected to be so, going with all the fraudulent documents the likes of Davous has been fraudulently sending to them, with a notion that they don't verify documents as mumu. It still baffles me how someone went to the level of printing a fake medical report, fake bank statement, and even a fake police character certificate without the fear of been arrested 2 Likes |

In as much everyone is proving innocent. I know most of here have applied for one country or the other and we all know most proof of fund they use where just deposited and removed later. We in Mauritius know how its and those in Mauritius can testify as well. Lets pray this don't happen to anyone. Everyone has learned his or her lessons from this . 1 Like |
