People, stop employing domestic servants. Nobody is meant to be a servant to anyone. You are only setting yourself up for death. A person is already angry internally about his/her condition in life and feels he is wretched because of you the rich, and you want to rub it in, by making him your servant?
I did a renovation project in a palatial mansion in Lekki, and the domestic servants at every point in time kept trying to gossip to me their bitter complaints how disgusted they are with the woman that owned the house.
At a point, I told one of them point blank that I don't see what she is complaining about, that if she doesn't like the work, she should quit and go instead of harbouring so much hate in her heart. And she is the cook o!
I don't know when Nigerians will do away with this notion of live-in domestic staff.
If you need help, contract a company to send you people to do specific things for specific hours and they go. Other things you do it yourself like they do abroad.
