All these na wash. Geregu power that be bought is just to swindle gullible Nigerians as usual. To go the way of his other companies quoted on the NSE and only to disappear with investors funds. Now, the share price of Geregu has been pumped to over N300 and next, GBOSA. 1 Like |

ArewaNorth: My friend and, possibly, a colleague, don't waste precious time preaching the truth. People don't want to hear the truth. What people want is convenient lies, that is all. For years I decide to waste some of my time and explain generating capacity, transmission capacity, how I live at a place where about 1 kW is generated per each citizen at ANY GIVEN MOMENT, and then compare it with Nigeria. I then explain how Nigeria would have to increase the generating capacity by 4o to 50 TIMES in order to achieve REAL 24/7 supply, and that assuming that all power plants are maintained and kept operational at full capacity. In simple terms, that means that, for each power plant in existence today, Nigeria has to build over 40 new power plants. can Nigeria do it in our lifetime? I believe so. But that would only be possible if not a single kobo is embezzled until the job is done. And is THAT possible? I think we all know the answer. And then you get a polithiefcian who will promise the masses 24/7 supply of electricity, but only if HE gets elected. |

All the noise buhari made before 2015 one would expect nothing less than 15000mw by now but nothing came out of it . Guys ,what we need are sincere and serious minded leaders not party men, tribesmen and chronic Politicians.....they are all thieves. Today they are mouth loudly about jagaban, but every serious Nigerian know that like buhari,he will only end up borrowing excessively and make zero impact. He's a criminal surrounded by many more criminals and they are all pursuing there interest while using Nigeria and Nigerians as a means to their selfish end. |

It's only the Nigerian government that knows why it doesn't wanna fix the power sector. While in Nigeria, I thought power outage was a normal thing around the world. I thought 24/7 electricity was rocket science. Not until I spent a week in the US without the light going off, I realized that Nigeria has a long way to go. 4yrs now, l have never experienced a power outage even for a split second. |

Since 1999, the same APC and PDP people that kept power generation to 5000mw are who Buhari cabal is now fighting tooth and nail, even killing unarmed opposition people now, in order to keep any of the two political parties in apex political power after May 29th, 2023. Some ignoramuses support the cabal which is using old and sick Tinubu as front.

Billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, has lamented the poor state of the power sector in Nigeria, stating that the country has only generated a total of 5,000 megawatts since he was born. Otedola made this statement during an interview with Arise TV on Thursday, April 6, 2023. ******************************************************************************************** Get FREE bets of 3K every week if you register with 1xbet using the promo code "1x_17402" ******************************************************************************************** According to Otedola, the country has failed to invest in the power sector, and as a result, has not been able to generate enough power to meet the needs of its citizens. He further noted that this has led to a situation where Nigerians have to rely on generators to provide electricity for their daily needs. Otedola also criticized the government's approach to the power sector, stating that the government has failed to attract the necessary investments needed to improve the sector. He urged the government to prioritize the power sector and create an enabling environment for investors to invest in the sector. The billionaire businessman also expressed his disappointment with the country's political leadership, stating that the country needs leaders who are focused on improving the lives of Nigerians and not just enriching themselves. He urged Nigerians to vote for leaders who have the country's best interests at heart. ******************************************************************************************** Get FREE bets of 3K every week if you register with 1xbet using the promo code (1x_17402) ******************************************************************************************** Otedola's comments come at a time when Nigeria is facing a power crisis, with many parts of the country experiencing frequent power outages. The government has promised to improve the power sector and increase power generation to 30,000 megawatts by 2025. However, many Nigerians remain skeptical of the government's ability to deliver on its promises. |
