Ahead of the sentence of Ike Ekweremadu and his wife, Beatrice, following their conviction by London’s Central Criminal Court for organ trafficking, Nigeria’s former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, has written an emotional letter to the court’s Clark seeking linient sentence for the Nigerian Senator and his wife. https://thewhistler.ng/ekweremadu-obasanjo-writes-emotional-letter-to-uk-court-seeks-leniency/ 61 Likes 9 Shares

I also am a man of pity and would seek the judges be lenient based on the passionate attempt in messing up. Doesn't still change the fact that if our leaders, Obasanjo and Ekweremadu included, along with the bunch of clueless mofos we have currently past and present, BUILT/BUILD world class facilities and hospitals in a system where every process has a legal backing and accountability for every action. Unfortunately, UK is not Nigeria where the law is practically abused effortlessly. 131 Likes 6 Shares |

I think the Government need to pass a law to make it legal to sell organs All these crimes won’t be necessary, people are willing to sell at a good price But if you look at it from the left,Nigerians will abuse it by selling their children’s organs. 59 Likes 4 Shares |

Obasanjo just dey write upandan....the first two paragraphs were more about himself than Ekweremadu. It must always be about him-self serving man. Meanwhile, Ekweremadu’s act is criminal in the face of the UK law. Even King Charles will find it hard to intervene 88 Likes 10 Shares |

Make them help this guy abeg. This is one of our leaders, no country should watch this embarrassment. Before you blame this Ekweremadu, I’m not saying he did right but the truth is that many people are worse when faced with pressure. Before you question people’s moral ground, would you do same when faced with same pressure? 46 Likes 2 Shares |

WHO DOES THIS MAN THINK HE IS? OBASANJO REALLY DOES OVERESTIMATE THE LEVEL OF HIS INFLUENCE. HE THINKS HIS SILLY LETTER CAN SUBVERT JUSTICE IN A COUNTRY WHERE THINGS WORK. 57 Likes 4 Shares |

Obi no even remember him brother. Watch how he would rush to start writing. They should temper justice with mercy. Give him 7 years instead of 10. 25 Likes 2 Shares |

Who send Obasanjo to write another letter Let the UK make an example of him So Nigerian Politicians will know there is God It is even better for Nigeria to have a Nationwide Prisoner Amnesty than for Ekweremadu to go Scot free Ekweremadu represents the Oppressive Political Elite of Nigeria Let them know God can handle them all 13 Likes 1 Share |

Lowest of the low. Obasanjo has finally lost it.th This is so unbecoming of a so called elder statesman. Imagine interfering in a court case without being a party to the case or counsel on the case. This is the height of self conceit. Shame on you Mr obj. 22 Likes 2 Shares |

you see the type of people this baba dey support? Baba should know that this is UK, a civilized country, they wont even read the letter. He should have stayed away from this. This is to tell you nigeria is far beyond repair. Common, this means if it happens in a country like ours, the boy will likely rot in jail while the ekeremadus will be working freely just like many others. Elites in this country are very selfish, satanic and wicked. 44 Likes 3 Shares |
