You don't know Obasanjo, currently no politician is more influential, respected and connected internationally in nigerian (also in africa) than OBJ.... ...forget sentiments.

This is one of our leaders, no country should watch this embarrassment.

Before you blame this Ekweremadu, I’m not saying he did right but the truth is that many people are worse when faced with pressure.
Before you question people’s moral ground, would you do same when faced with same pressure?

Because you have low moral values does not mean everyone of us have same.

This is your leader and the type of leader your and your lineage, with your mentality, deserves. They are not my leaders, they are rulers to me. They are people who have seized and hijacked power and positions, mostly by crookedness or by outright violence. They will never be my leaders, speak for your family and lineage.

I hope you never get any result, life or welfare [till you die] that are better than the kind of your "leaders" can provide you; even if we change government to people I can call my own leaders. May people like these and Mama Piss continue leading and impacting your life, in one form or the other, and may any attempt you make to japa fail, so you can enjoy the fruits of your "leaders".

Obi no even remember him brother.

Watch how he would rush to start writing.

They should temper justice with mercy.

Give him 7 years instead of 10.

...and if he does, You will still wail.

You are very correct.. but let us assume it's your organ he wanted to harvest for his daughter?
If not that God was with the guy, the boy would have died by now. And the chapter of his life closed. Ekweremadu has lost his glory. The history can never forgive him. You are in the house of senate for almost 2decades. Is he the only Nigerian?

Imagine this Obasanjo of this world! No shame, no decency and no common sense. UK is not Nigeria. Rule of law is more important than political connections in UK. The law is supreme in UK.
Obasanjo! Pls don't embarrass Nigeria again and damage our remaining respect in international arena.

If Ekweremadu has done some charity works in 2006,he should not face the wrath of the law if he is found culpable? Then no criminal should be held since they might have done one charity or the other!
Thank God UK no be Nigeria!

Abi, can you imagine the fockery? A competent court found the Ekweremadus rightly guilty, something that wouldn't have been possible in Nigeria. Yet, he still shamelessly wants them treated differently from other criminals! How very repulsive of him! They just like embarrassing this country up and down! Nigeria is the headquarters of corruption!
In court even lawyers beg for leniency for their clients to reduce punishment, in this case instead of life sentence he can possibly get like 10 years or so ... that's what I think the letter is trying to achieve not outright pardon

You are calling another man's father a big fool, did u even have elderly people in your family? Moreover, if the whole of your family combine together to achieve quarter of His achievement, I'm sure u wouldn't be here writing rubbish.

A quarter is too much am sure his whole family combined can never achieve a millionth of what OBJ achieved in his first 35 years on earth.
Re: Ekweremadu: Obasanjo Writes A Letter To UK Court by Capernum: 4:47pm On Apr 05, 2023
At least they haven't harvested the kidney yet.... So the judgment should be lenient and fair at the same time.

You can abuse him, I do blame him too because he should have used his good office to build a world class hospital for those who don't have the money to travel out of the country for treatment.

But may we not know what it feels like to watch your daughter carry a death sentence around in her body, waiting to die soon. We can excuse him for going to the extreme for his daughter's life.

You may think this way but I have different thought entirely especially about how weak Nigeria is🤔 Big men are protected by laws in Nigeria but when they are overseas are like nothing. The security forces aid them in their wrong doings and lawyers defend them every bit in Nigeria. In China and Arabs nations billionaires are not spelled from their wrongs. I have seen them behead their corrupt billionaires.

Just yesterday Trump , a whole former US president was arrested for wrong doing and currently undergoing trials .

Forget about about emotions and tribe-sentiments . This country must be purified and for that to be possible we all have to pay for our wrong doing. We must be accountable.
To be more blunta there are some people that must die for this country to move forward.

Our society are always fast to condemn the poor while the big men are exempted from their wrongs.

If this senator is being persecuted in UK It is a let down to Nigeria because it means Nigeria is not working because our country shield the big men from their wrongs

Sorry for the grammatical flaws.. can't edit at the moment

The heartless couple were ready, under
false pretenses to go and take the kidneys of another persons child to save their own.

Obasanjo should know that, for oyibo land,
unlike Nigeria, rich man and big man's
life are all worth the same.

If they had publicly called for donors, many
Nigerians, for 5 to 8 million, will gladly have sold one Kidney to them instead of
tricking a young man.

Obasanjo, you better park well.
No mercy for the wicked❗️❗️❗️😐😐😐

How can you describe people who wanted to steal another persons body part without duly informing him just to make sure their own daughter stays alive? What's God fearing here?
If they were, they wouldn't have tricked the young man knowing the consequence of Losing kidney and what it entails to maintain treatment of the donor
OBJ is just an old fool, b4 u say mark, he don start to write rubbish
If you want to plead for leniency, do that in peace without making other people look stupid by describing people who committed heinous crime as God's fearing

I think the Government need to pass a law to make it legal to sell organs
All these crimes won’t be necessary, people are willing to sell at a good price
But if you look at it from the left,Nigerians will abuse it by selling their children’s organs.
so that more people can be kidnapped and killed, thier organs harvested for sale.
