My guy if ur situation no ever reach like this, then u are enjoying as u haven't tasted poverty.
If u ever used your soap or toothpaste up to this level, two things are involved
1. Its either ur stingy to yourself
2. Your poverty level has a confidence interval of 100%
Chai! Abeg please don't! 😟😕🙁

This situation is even better, a situation where you resort to salt or charcoal for brushing of teeth, and black soap of 10N for bathing

If you live in an apartment like that, then you are not poor. You are only broke. If you really want to see poor people, go to flyovers (they call it underbridge) in Lagos.

You will see makeshift houses people live under. And na the same people dey snatch ballot boxes for Tinubu and Sanwo-Olu grin

Funny enough, even though I can afford thousands of toothpaste, i still tear my toothpaste open and make sure to scoop out everything with my toothbrush before discarding.
If you like say I’m stingy to myself na you know. This month alone I’ve already done giveaway of over 700k, so I’m convinced deep down in my heart that I’m not stingy. This is what matters most to me

I disagree somehow. Where my wife deals on toothpaste at her pharmacy but would come home Saturday night, forgetting that we ran out of it at home. We need to chew the brush before leaving for church service at 5:30am .

Come and see me performing surgery on the empty paste tube
Hehe. U suppose buy am before e even finish

When does poverty becomes competition?
Individual's definition of poverty is different.

After observing your pictures, bro, i can comfortably say you don’t know the meaning of poverty….. See tiles in you bathroom…. See how good the place is looking….. And I’m certain you eat at least twice a day….. SMH!!!

I already did everything you posted there when i was about 10yrs old….. It’s a normal thing in boarding house though…….

A truly poor person will not be on Nairaland.
A truly poor person will not even use tooth paste
A truly poor person can never reside in an apartment like the one shown by OP.

May we all never experience the true meaning of poverty 🙏

Most times, it's not about being stingy or poverty, it could also happen through forgetfulness.

Sometimes I would have planned to shop on my way back from work, only for me to enter the bathroom before I remember the plans to replace those items.
Thank you Jare, it happens to many people, especially forgetful and lazy People.
And please whoever has a bathroom like that, doesn't know shit about poverty.

It might be neither of the above.

You might just have been an irresponsible drunkard who always forgets to replace them before he gets home...
