Boro declared Niger delta in 1966, Ojukwu/Ironsi made sure they perished him.

Ojukwu then declared Biafra in 1967, and he was expecting success..

For declaring Niger-Delta Republic, Ironsi, the then military head of state ordered Ojukwu to get Isaac Boro arrested for treason. Boro was caught & sent over to Lagos where Ironsi charged him, got him convicted of treasonable felony!
