Hello my people You guys are the real MVP I have been a silent follower of this thread but I need a clarity on some grey area as I am planning against January 2024 for my MSc 1. Its about POF, I work in a financial institution, the net pay is not dt much though but I have a side hustle that pays me like x4 of my salary, but due to the nature of my job I run this business through my brother's personal account which he doesn't have access to, I only have access to the account. How do I do my POF? I'm married with 3 children, I live in my own house, (not planning to go with them for now) 1. Can I use my brother as a sponsor from his personal account statement or I should register the business and open account with the business name and start running the account instead of the personal account? since my plan is against next year? 2. If I register the business can we both be director? but I don't want to be a signatory to the business account. 3. What document will I need to submit for POF? 4. Do I need to submit my house documents as well? 5. Which University/college in Canada accept installments payment? I'm seeking all these info to be able to get it right the first time. Thanks in advance |

olutowo:Bal of 17,400 Living expenses two yrs. 22k Miscellaneous two yrs 6k Return ticket 2k Multiply by 345/cad U have ur answers. Note that as self sponsored it’s best to show u have 70-100% of ur total funds. But anything is possible sha. 2. A survey plan is not a valid land document. C of O, gift Deed, Deed of conveyance, purchase receipts are valid land documents 3 Likes |

hardeyeanc:1. Depend on how much d money in question is nd how long ur program will be for. The best option that will not complicate tins for u is, let ur bro do a gift Deed for u nd send d money to ur acct, then u can maybe support it with that ur brother’s SOA to mk ur case stronger. 2. Like I said earlier, going to register d company now nd all will be a longer route plus it might look suspicious tendering d documents of a company registered a few months to ur application. So I won’t advice u go through that route. 3. Ur SOA, pay slips, gift Deed, ur brother’s SOA (not compulsory tho), employment letter/ID card. Note u have to establish a very strong proof of relationship nd previous commitment wit ur brother. So birth certificate, family pictures nd evidence of previous financial supports will be required. 4. Yes for home ties alongside ur family 5. U will have to do your research on dis bcuz there are a lot of factors to consider such as program, institution, duration, tuition fees, course nd province of ur choice nd financial capability. |

Hello, What is the ideal period for landing in Canada before school begins. i.e. School starts September 5, can I land in late June? Can anyone point me to what the experience is like at the port of entry? i.e. what questions do they typically ask at Immigration. Thanks, |

Thanks for the info. Problem no dey finish lol. Please can someone give me the best advise, I currently have available balance of 7m in my acct and that is the balance I have been maintaining since January till date, but the cash flow is about 13m between February and April so far. I understand I have to explain every lump sum deposited sure, but now I’m expecting 7m to be deposited into my acct from a property I’m about to sell some times next week or so, and my school resumption date is July 31th, do u think it will make any sense if I print my bank statement after a week of the 7m deposits and submit my application ? Or I do need to wait for months and defer my admission. And I have open balance of 7kcad to pay to the school as I have paid some deposit. My main concern is, how long do u think I should submit my application after the expected 7m has been credited to my acct. I’m thinking maybe I should go ahead and submit the application after a week the money is been deposited and I will back it up with all evidence of sales of the property in my SOP, just my thought though. I will appreciate best advise, thank you all gurus and enjoy ur Sunday. |

Tegnaworld23: You already said it all, but alternatively you can also choose to bring the money in inform of a gift deed. The money gets to your family members acct first then it’s sent back to your account as a gift deed. Additionally, the 7M can be deposited and then you print the bank statement the following month so the 7M can reflect in the opening balance. I don’t think there is any best time to print bank statement, the most important thing to be able to explain every lumps sum and also have the expected POF available. My opinion tho. You can still wait for other’s response 1 Like |
