Inksun:Go to the website. You can simply Google applyboard and it will come up. Then you register. Everything on the website is explained and easy to use. They work directly with a lot of schools and can immediately show you the schools and programs you are eligible for with your grades |

GloriaBekee:Make sure your network connection is also strong on your end as many people including myself have used it and are still using it without issues. Hope you are not using an erratic network provider such as glo. Alternatively you can use the new portal (Google search) |

GloriaBekee: If you started with GCKey you will have to finish with it unless you don't mind starting over again. There might be a platform update going on if it's unusable in a day. If it is persistent for a few days contact them directly. I am not sure if the new portal does study permit. I was advised by my school to use GCkey. |

Good morning everyone. Please I need your clarification on this. We have a Land in my late mom's name, and I intend to use it as part of my home tiers in my Visa application.. so pls which legal document do I need to get in other to back up this claim as the next of kin |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by anori: 12:08pm On Apr 17, 2023 |
Ikay3502: If your mom is late, shouldn't the land be in probate so it can be put into the inheritor's name? It might not work if it is not in your name and no chance of a gift deed. |

If there is no group for University of Winnipeg for September 2023, and May group/ our neighbours University of Manitoba don't want to adopt us Let us form a new Whatsapp group. (I would very much like it to be combined with University of Manitoba since we will be living in the same city and our goals are common) |

Hi Guys, Please I need advise, I am a newbie here and about starting the whole admission process against January 2024. I graduated with a 2'1. I wanted to apply at Fanshaw and Humber college for a PG program but someone told me that I shouldn't because it is for those with 2'2 and below that I should look for universities to apply to instead. I don't know how true this is and that's why I came to this platform for advise and help. I would be grateful if someone can help me clarify things, thanks guys |

Nonyilla: First of all let me correct an impression. Colleges are not for only people with 2’2 and below. Most people choose colleges because it avails lots of hands-on experience and high technical proficiency, which may be limited at the Universities. However, colleges are easier to get admissions. Then for Universities, there’s the taught-based and thesis-route Master’s; so it depends on what you seek. When you opt for most of the thesis-route programs, you may get funding. Some taught Master’s also offer funding. Now what is the challenge with universities as opposed to colleges? The admissions at the University are HIGHLY Competitive. So if your leg strong, put body. As for me I’ll advise you look forward to fall 2024. - work on yourself; get extra research/educational skills - revamp your CV. - Work on your SOP - Research on different programs of interest and entry requirements; reach out to the grad Coordinators. - Get strong letters of recommendation. - Have a budget (very important). All the best, W 3 Likes |

Nonyilla: Depends on you. With your grades you should be eligible for most universities but colleges do tend to be cheaper with more lenient requirements. Regardless going for a college as opposed to a university doesn't harm your chances of getting a study permit. |

Hello house Please advise on what to do. I applied for study permit sometimes last year, and was meant to resume latest January this year.. but then my ppr just came out last month. And I'm looking to change university and the area. Should I do that while still here in Nigeria won't it affect my Visa or when I get there? |

Please I wanna ask if it's still logical to apply now for admission for Fall 2023 if the application is still open. I want to apply for fall 2023 admission with June 30 deadline at CNA. |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by anori: 6:41pm On Apr 17, 2023 |
dpresido: I guess you didn't explain to them properly. If you can't convince the school it will be harder to convince IRCC. You should look for a course that focuses more on project management as the specialisation. Project management might only be a small part of the MBA programme you chose. To them, you look over-qualified and they have nothing new to teach you. If its the MBA you want to redo, explain your first MBA was inadequate (with some proof like your academic results) and you want to learn from seasoned professionals. It may be a tough sell but worth a shot. If Project Management is what you want then look for a course that will focus 100% on it. 1 Like |

anori: Thank you much Anori. Your explanation above makes a lot of 'brain '😀. I have really learnt a lot from this your response. Originally I would have taken off the MBA but someone else had done that before and they still requested for it, though he got the admission. I would have dwelt on the academic records but my grades were fine. While waiting for their feedback, I will explore other courses as rightly advised. Thank you ao very much for being kind with this detailee response 1 Like |
