We have always questioned which of the three levels of government is most to blame for the hardships and sufferings that Nigeria as a nation endures.

Is it correct to state that our governors truly have the best interests of the people in heart after this assessment of Okowa's huge severance, which is currently making the rounds on the internet?

Okowa is entitled to a fully furnished duplex in Delta State or any other state in Nigeria, as well as medical treatment for himself and his immediate family, two vehicles per year, including a utility vehicle, two armed police officers, and one Department of State Security official.

I can bet you that even people who voted and defended them are not happy with these. I tell some of my friends who are from a different political divide that I will not suffer alone for their mistakes as this polithiefcians do not even know them or care about them (So, we all suffer together. Me sef my biz dey fetch me small money so I no go suffer reach you). Even those(polithiefcians) that claims to do whether infrastructural development or otherwise only do them for their selfish gains and not because they want us to enjoy it. You will rarely find a road built 10years ago that is still standing strong. Non of their children are schooling in same citadel of learning as ours neither do the access same health care facilities. They flog you to leave the road when they are passing by with their entourage, they only buy from road side sellers at election eve and drive them away from same spot after they are sworn in. See, politicians are just wicked if not worse than the devil. That's why I don't always engage/ argue with folks on politics.

Elections are supposed to either correct errors of the past, or strengthen the good dividends delivered by leaders elected by the people. We had another chance this year, but a lot of the people preferred the peanuts given to them. They took the peanuts, cast their votes in favour of the wrong persons and moved on. Many have started reaping the rewards of their bad choices.
