When you see these men fight Obi with ruthless angst they know they have akeleton in their cupboard. They fear Obi to their bone marrow as one who will tilt the statusquo.
The issue is not whether the house is expensive or not but whether it is right or wrong for a Federal Cabinet Minister to purchase a house from another clime while holding sway as a Public Officer.

Obi is a crook.

Only Ibos call him a saint.

The guy is not smart at all, why did he get the video of his house in the first place? Mumu! He should have started recording from the street. Daft APC pigs! Where did a junior useless minister like him get $300k+ in 2021 to buy the house? Corrupt selfish idiots, that's why they are fighting Obi tooth and nail.

Houses are really cheap in Texas.

Damn!

Is he saying that "Obidients" are the only moral police left in Nigeria to haunt looters? It seems that any corrupt official exposed blames the "Obidients".

/

Houses are cheap in much of the US. Na when you enter HCOLs, like Bay Area and Manhattan, nai prices stop dey funny.

From the perspective of a well to do foreigner for whom the local job market isn't a noteworthy consideration, nothing beats US real estate. From cozy SFHs in the suburbs to acres in the middle of nowhere to lake houses. Properties available at every price point. Pick your preferred climate. From the arid landscape in NM to the picturesque views in VT.

Sweden and Estonia are excellent choices too.

I don't understand the comments I keep seeing from Zombies saying why will a SAN not be able to afford 300k dollars.
Abeg do they pay SAN $300k once they get that title?
Because I don't understand the relationship between SAN and $300k.
Last i checked, SAN appear in Nigerian courts and are paid in naira.
Can someone explain the logic pls?

Anti Japa group,
Look at your leaders. They have investments in Japa lands, but they expect ordinary citizens to make the country great.

You are very funny . Recently you and I witnessed the ethnic bigotry that was the hall mark of the last election .where people were reminded they are not yorubas ...you expect a right turning person from other tribes to still invest in property here ? The safety of your property or investment is paramount . Usa will never remind you that you are a Nigerian and to that extent if you participate in there election ,your house , property or business premises will be burnt...When we get to that level of civilisation , we might have a rethink ...for now ensure your property is in safe place .

We only warned Ibos because they were constituting nuisance.

In UK, person can spread the payment for a property over a period of up to about forty years. They don't pay for such magnitude of capital intensive property for once.
