Lies. Nigeria's population is a great asset, it is appealing given to the population of China and India , both more than a billion people.

An asset to achieving what exactly? We've possessed a huge population since 1990, what good has it done us? 1990 was 33 years ago. Any forward-thinking entity would experience positive changes in 10 or a little more number of years.

Great market for business : cell phones & other electronic, electrical equipment, beauty supplies, real estate, food, not only that, there is better chance to groom high tech gurus, get more medical doctors, more civil engineers, .... you name it.

Nigeria's population explosion 💥 has nothing to do with her dwindling economy, the population of china and Indonesia is higher than Nigeria and yet they are thriving well.

Not when 63% of the total population lives in poverty. We’re still consumers rather than producers. The big earners are foreign companies like Chinese phone makers flooding our market with cheap, unregulated devices.

Let's see it the other way: If there is poverty it means there are possibilities for growth.
If we are still consumers, it means there is less local competition in the manufacturing sector. This is an opportunity.

When India passes 1. 4 billion people , with all the poverty in that country, people praise it, but an African country like Nigeria reaches 200 million people , it is an issue ?
