Nigeria is using over 90% of its budget just to service debt and you are talking about building cities like this?

When we see a good leader, with vision, less corrupt and not tribalistic, we will collectively vote.

For now, there is nothing close to a good leader, so I do not know the leader that u feel wants to stand for the people that went to war.
If u are involved in Nigèria at the grass root, u will understand, leaders from d grassroots are d ones who get mutiIated to what they are at the national Level.
Leaders doñ't fall from blue sky and d people make d leaders.

since all of them started from grassroot politics, they are all corrupt.

For now we never get anything close to a good leader, we only have vultures as option

Reflect7:

Yes they are. Their annual budget is 130 billion dollars for 70 million people.

Nigeria's is 50 billion dollars for 220 million people.

The oil and gas revenue might have been somewhat sufficient 20 years ago.

Today, it's a pittance cos of our population growth.

We need further diversification and better taxing systems to generate more revenue for development.

Not to mention that South Africa would obviously have a more efficient, better implemented budget than Nigeria where corruption and inefficiency would dilute that $50b to like $10b, if not less in implementation value.

We have no foreseeable pathway to development. Not in a country where people are actually rooting for someone like Tinubu of all people to perpetuate the rot/disrepair that would forever define us.

Nigeria can achieve these when our time of Independent years reach those countries own. We Nigerians don't believe in process but quickly compare those developed nations' Achievement with ours but not ready to wait and do what it takes to do than condemnation , not appriciating and value their.. Those things were not build in a year ok.

People like you should never control the narratives, else Nigeria will never develop in a million years.

When did Malaysia gain independence?
I'll tell you for free: 31 August 1957
This is just three (3) years before Nigeria got independence!

Now, can you compare Nigeria with Malaysia in terms of development?

Nigeria is at least 100 years (as things stand today) behind Malaysia, and if your preferred candidate Tinubu (remember you called him a "builder of people" ) takes over, Nigeria will recede to about 130 years behind Malaysia.

This is why being unsentimental is synonymous with lacking of conscience.
No person with conscience would wish Tinubu on Nigeria at this stage of her development.

Same way Festus Keyamo said Hospitals aren’t built in a day, during the campaign period in 2019, when Bubu had already done 4 years.

4 years later, and 8 years in total, and Bubu still flies abroad for medical treatment.

One of the problems with naij is that there a lot of stupid people.

They will ask you whether Open Gutter is your problem, yet look at the pics up there, is there any OPEN GUTTER filled with poop and pee anywhere

If that kind of person gets elected and becomes yet another stupid leader, do you think he will even consider closing the gutters

So it's possible.

In most cases, the responsibility for building mega cities lies with the government of the nation in which the city is located. This is because the government is responsible for providing the infrastructure and services necessary to support the city's population, such as transportation systems, water and sanitation services, healthcare, and education.

However, it is also important to note that the development of mega cities is often driven by a combination of factors, including economic growth, urbanization, and population growth. Private developers and investors may also play a significant role in the construction of mega cities, particularly in the development of commercial and residential real estate.

Ultimately, the responsibility for building and managing a mega city rests with a range of stakeholders, including governments, private developers, and the citizens who live and work in the city. It is important for all of these stakeholders to work together to ensure that the city is sustainable, livable, and meets the needs of its residents.

Any leader that will stand for d people of Nîgerià to bring the complete dividends of democracy in education, roads, electricity, water, security, jobs etc etc will be going to a wàr that will definitely cóñsume him and his family.
Are these people wórth that stress?
The avèràge Nîgèrîan will choose allegiance to religîón and trîbè and complain about good or bàd góvèrnance, getting to the level d OP is posting requires all hands on deck.
These Nîgeriàns will ÑÈVÈR place thèîr hands on deck.
seeing that river in the Melbourne city made my heart feel at peace. Seeing water clean Iike that. Almost drinkable .

All hands must be on deck to achieve that in Nigeria.

1.First you are comparing cities which started long before Nigeria was thought of as a nation with Nigeria.

2. You can get those cities, but it takes not voting for people like those in APC and PDP, as well as removing destructive policies like subsides, and paying heavy duty tax to the city authorities. Yes, I said tax...not the peanuts we pay here in Nigeria. And stop relying on oil alone.

Actually, what it takes is colonisation, marginalisation of the poor, genocide against the less fortunate, deforestation, and brain drainage of less developed neighbouring cities and countries.

Those buildings and cities are built with blood money.
