This unity I believe is causing us more harm than good.
Just like some of the people that voted for Tinubu on tribal considerations and sentiments, would any of these people who owns a company employ a Tinubu to manage the company. Our people says 'ewu ora n'enye nli n'anwu n'aguu', the goat fed by the public dies of hunger'.

Why not? If you check very well you will know that, if probably he is not the most influential in Nigeria politics of today then he should be most influential Yoruba man at the moment.

Tinubu was voted twice as lagos state governor, he is unarguably Yoruba highest political leader even before his election as president. Is your question still relevant? Will you accept someone you can't vote for as your leader?
You believe that Yoruba voted for Tinubu because of settlement but Igbo for Peter Obi not because of settlement. What's past achievements of Peter Obi in comparison to Tinubu? Election has come and gone, you guys should move on.

Charity begins at home.

My dear Igbo compatriot, you are an outsider to Yoruba politics so let me school you.
Since 1992, Asiwaju Tinubu has been contesting election in Yorubaland and he never ever lost. He even got the highest votes in a senatorial election nationwide in 1992.

All his election campaigns in Yorubaland are done in Yoruba and he is a true Omoluabi who genuinely love and serve the Yoruba and his late Mum,Iyaloja Abibatu Mogaji, was one of the most prominent of our Yoruba leaders.

Unlike others, the Alaiyeluwa in ile kaaro oojire were transversing the North and South to get others to back Asiwaju and the records are there. All the APC Yoruba candidates stepped down for him except one of his political sons, PYO.

He got this far by God's grace anf the backing of his Yoruba people. Much of it he expressed gratitude for in his campaign speech in Yoruba below.

In a independent yoruban nation Fashola would be our president. He's the next best thing to Awolowo in terms of action. Only him can get plenty votes across board.
We are however not in an independent yoruba nation. Tinubu and kwankwaso were the best candidates on this ballot based on their CV.

I don't know why igbos are so mad, we all voted who was on the ballot. Getting on the ballot is an individual battle based on strategy and relationships, not by threats and insults. Next time win a ticket of a major party so you get the spread to win the presidency.

An independent nation will igbos vote for Peter Obi that was accused of causing division between Catholic and other Christians, the same man accused of Azu river mortuary? everyone support their evil, Tinubu is the most valuable political ever in the history of Africa at large no one come close in the south east, dead or alive, even when Peter Obi was in the PDP and Atiku chose him as Vice president candidate, Igbo PDP governors fought him to stand still but all APC governor unite behind Tinubu even Tambuwal was eager to work for Tinubu.

I remember during the elections, there was a comment on twitter where someone prayed and declared that " your children will be like who you voted for" . Tinubu's supporters where forbidding it and even went ahead to attack the guy. He didn't call names oh.

Forget all these noise, they know that tinubu is rubbish. But bigotry has blinded them.

Why is your region terribly poor and desolate?

That means the insane ones making decisions in the southwest are far better than the sane ones making decisions for you guys in your region.

BAT lost 2 states in SW; 1 to Obi,1 to Atiku. Won those states by around 60-70% votes. The other non-Yorubas got 25% in many SW states. Atiku won and lost many states in the north; the other non-northerners got 25% in many states. Obi won all states in the SE. Won 90% plus in each state. No one else got 25% in any state. Verdict? Yorubas voted along ethnic lines. You guys are so peculiar to the point of being very entertaining. No one takes you seriously apart from yourselves.

Point out which of his assertion is laughable or wrong.

For your information, majority of the yorubas that voted for Obi, did so because of the Muslim - Muslim ticket. Not Because they think Obi have any chance to out perform tinubu in governance.

There is no known record to prove that Obi can do well as a president. His campaign tactics is a proof that he has a hidden agenda.

I congratulate sane Nigerians for avoiding him.
