We don't have money!! It's important we reset our mind. The budget of Texas, US is like 10 times bigger than the budget of the Federal Government of Nigeria. There are municipalities (like LG)bin US that have bigger budgets than Lagos State.


And another factor is that a lot of what you see is built by the private sector. It's not government that builds all these skyscrapers ,but private companies and money to lease out to companies.

Apple alone is richer than FG, 36 states and 774 (or however many) LG in Nigeria combined.

Apple alone is more capitalized than all companies on the Nigerian Stock exchange combined.

It's important to put how far back we are into context, before we start hoping for Nigeria to be like these countries . We can be much better than where we are if we were to root out mind boggling corruption, incompetence etc, but still
