My imo brothers, I beg that you pay no attention to this misfit. He's got nothing to do on nairaland, except open different monikers, go to different Igbo threads, curse and abuse people, as well as create divisions between us as Igbos. Allow him to continue on with his ramblings but pay him no attention. It's basically behat he thrives upon

The best way to answer that fool who should crawl back to his mother vigina and remain there, is to create topics of discussion and ignore his penis rants. The more you engage that vagina waste the more he thinks he matters. Nairaland should create block buttons for such nuisance but sadly, nairaland itself is a useless platform. All the same just ignore him and stick to the topics of discussion.

U will notice that the management of nairaland is quiet on the issue of the he-goat called Chino. I am even thinking the management has hand in the character, perhaps it is a way for them to drive traffic, cos I don't understand how somebody (Chino) can be so jobless for over 12 years and still counting

Firstky the plant though in the hinterland is world class. You are ways filled with envy and bitterness, that's why you are always here deceiving yourself. Imo state is the worst and most backward state in southern Nigeria but you are not worried. Owerri is a glorified rural area littered with dilapidated roads and filthy environment but you are not worried. Most rich imo indigenes consider imo state as a useless worthless backward state and that's why they usually take their investments to Onitsha, Lagos or PH. Imo state has no manufacturing or any reasonable company to create employment for the teaming poor people in imo state but you are not worried, but you are always fixated on Anambra the most progressive and most developed state in igboland.

Despacito1:

Just imagine if that place were to be Lagos or Portharcourt, you will see massive infrastructures, beautiful environs like that of shell, well tared ground and atmosphere. Now because it's in Anyamelum LGA his home town, see how a gas plant is looking like a fillings station. Anambra man build things according the mentality of "here is village", let's do it anyhow, take the profit to build and develop headquarters in Lagos. I have seen how other huge projects they have executed looks like in other states, this one looks like a joke.
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by 0fodirinwa: 11:16am On Apr 13, 2023
Shut up your smelling mouth there, you are only being envious and bitter because your backward useless worthless shithole imo state has nothing to show. Go and see massive beautiful company built by Orange drugs in Onitsha, I wish he built it in his home state of imo that lacks investments

Despacito1:

Shatap! I want the best thing to be done. Can't you see nestoil farm in Lagos and I wished he did it in his home town state.

He doesn't work for nairaland. He has no link whatsoever with nairaland. Thr guy is so truthful and has continued to kick you guys here with the truth. You have been so jobless for over 15yrs with different monikers but you aren't worried about yourself. I now have every reason to believe that Chino is the right match for you guys

Stop deceiving yourself here, face your backward useless worthless shithole imo state.

Anambra is moving forward with the best infrastructures in igboland. Though I am from imo state but I stand for truth. Imo is a failed state and we should do something fast to get it on good pedestal like Anambra.

Upper Iweka is a beauty to behold in terms of decent roads, interchanges, green, flowers, lights, etc. It is actually more beautiful than any location in Owerri. So the new Obosi interchange will not be different.

Imo state is lacking on critical infrastructures, this is despite the state being in APC for almost 10yrs. But Anambra that's not in the ruling party is getting all the attention from the centre.

Imo is a failed state that must be rescued by either Labour Party or APGA.

Despacito1:

Thanks to President Buhari if not, Johnathan played politics with this same bridge. I pray Soludo helps the federal to maintain it sanity before it turns to another Upper iweka. Political, religious Postals, signboards, should not deface the new bridge. Hoodlums and Agberos should not turn it to their hideout. At list that's the only thing they claimed they have given to SE. Is this bridge not supposed to be Transnational road bridge connecting the north to South, we've made it to be like it's an igbo bridge begging each successive Government to build it. Now they've tolled it to be paid by igbo's as the most user's, others places weren't so.. We need to engage in politics and leave succession for now, lets develop igboland with what we're getting now to compete with the rest now or never. The present Regional government won't favour us all without the Old Eastern region.

Imo state has always been a backward useless worthless state with low educational profile. Anambra has maintained the lead for almost two decades and still on top ten. Imo is a failed state

Despacito1:

I think imo state has maintained that position for decades and they won't be holding the medal ๐Ÿ… forever na.. one has to move for another to occupy, it's normal.

Please for those who have gone to Imo of recent, what's the current state of the Owerri - Umuahia road?

Last time I travelled, around beginning of December, last year, the road was too bad due to the supposed construction work going on there... Have they atleast finished the part they destroyed before the rains came?

I made the same proposal to the imo state government, a major rail line connecting Owerri to Orlu - Akokwa with branch line from Mgbidi to Oguta will be super lucrative.

A major rail line from Owerri - Okigwe with branch line to Mbaise is super lucrative

Owerri pH rail line with station at Futo area will sale

Owerri -Orlu - Akokwa rail line can easily be extended to Onitsha through orlu and Nnewi through Akokwa

Then a fresh solid line from Owerri to Aba, probably the shortest line but super lucrative with station at Airport junction.

The state doesn't need FG approval anymore since rail infrastructures is now under the concurrent list of the constitution, including power supply and generation.

Railway from Owerri to where in Imo State?
Imo is not like Anambra, for example, where there are bubling cities with government infrastructures and institutions like in Awka, Onitsha and Nnewi where railways can join cities and add to economic development. Imo is not like Abia State of from Aba to Umuahia where railways can connect to improve the economy of both cities. Imo is only Owerri.

Lousiness and Covetousness made Owerri people struggle and got every government institution in Imo state all placed in Owerri area, nothing elsewhere. That left the other urban towns in Imo state to dry up.
Till today, Owerri people still struggle for every government development project and institution be made for placement in Owerri senatorial zone.
Even the IMSUTH in Orlu has been systematically closed down, empty houses and few doctors left; equipments and many doctors taken to Umuguma in Owerri.
The university in Ideato recovered from Rochas, only track roads lead to the university.
Rain Floods have been killing people in many parts of Imo state outside Owerri due to absence of drainage system. And you want railways built from Owerri to ...?

In bold.
You rightly said: "it doesn't mean there are people who live in Orlu." Few people.
Gov Hope Uzodinma made Orlu become one little town around the old Total filling station, motor park near the station, and near the old market by St Joseph Catholic Church, like during the civil war era.
Uzodinma is most happy for this his achievement while in power. He tells himself that he is fighting Udenwa from Orlu.

Does Imo State still have a governor?

Has the Supreme Court governor suddenly forgotten that he has work to do?

What significant projects has that man accomplished in the past four years?

All Imo sons and daughters must come together to stop the Supreme Court governor.

The people must decide between Labour Party and PDP who to vote for. If they are not careful, they will split the votes between LP and PDP and hand over victory to the Supreme Court governor.
