It doesn't matter... It's still a Picture of the OP and assuming it was a trial that would have been used to identify him.

You don't seem to understand what doxing is.

Where u expecting chatinet to hack the OPs mobile phone using only that phone number and then retrieve all his pictures?

Una mumu too much.

The matter of the fact is he got the picture of the OP

DOESN'T matter if it's from oPay or palmpay... His picture is still his picture no matter how blur

He is obviously all these guys that register SIM cards. Those forms are photographed with those hand devices for registering since card.

You can use those devices to even track all repviously registers numbers with the full name which he did with the info the OP presented.

All you need is to send the name to one of thos kids who registers SIM they can get thi same information for you

chatinent

The bin is used in registering Sims infact chatinent can be sacked for this or can get the staff who released this inform sacked for this

All you need is to stored these information the send it to mtn, Mtn will check the account used to search this man's information and sack the staff.

The other photos where easy to get he used the name went on social media and saved the photos that resembled that taken at SIM registeraton

What @chatinent did is not special at all. I used to do it for fun and party games with friends.

I don't know why he is making a big deal about it. If wanted to be mean now I will get the account used to source this information in troubl šŸ¤£

chatinent can not give you the scammers location, he only guessed that since the scammer registered a SIM in Abuja in February he might be there.

Now the only person who can tell you a person's exact location in relative to masts is the ISP or DSS and some police departments . Now that comes with a special situation for tracking .

If you want to track someone go to the police and pay them they will track the person
You are the real FBIā€¦

I thought as much. The only part I couldnā€™t place was how he got the scammerā€™s picture. But t you cracked that one.

Itā€™s not a big deal what he did and someone could get into trouble with his/her job for releasing these details.

As for the OP is funny how you are laying curses when you obviously intended to carry out same scamming activities.

As for the lord Vicky guy the scammer in question hereā€¦ how low can one get to be scamming someone of an amount as ridiculously cheap as 1k.?

Maybe scamming just Dey your blood sha!

These people self how do you think social engineering hacks works?

What matters is he did what was asked... You're calling this one real FBI ask him to do that the other guy did he wouldn't be able to lol.

All he can ever do is sit and wait for that guy to do his finding them he comes along to debunk and make guess how he did it.

What he did however not very complex is a big deal.

If the money that guy scammed the OP was say 10M then chatinet findings would have been very useful and vital in locating the scammer.

Yet the OP is here raining abuses on someone who freely tried helping him grin grin

Typical behavior of a future fraudster

To add to this, here is how he obtains pictures of the phone number owners: He goes to Facebook, then "forgot password", and enters the phone numbers to search for the corresponding accounts. This guarantees that he will find the correct Facebook account, rather than simply searching for the phone number owner on Facebook, where many people may have similar names.

If the pictures of MrEazi223 he posted are from his Facebook account, then my assumption is 100% valid.

I guess he got the picture from my Facebook and instagram account

Yeah...that was why I asked him how he was able to get the scammer NIN details using only his IP which isn't possible as he himself chatinet doesn't have the IP of the scammer talk more of tracking his NIN with it which isn't possible... As the scammers changes his location he'll be assigned a new IP by his ISP btw...

But good job to him btw.

The form "chatinet" he posted was a complaints form not SIM registration form which makes what he did trickier to guess

ā€œLinked numbers to NINā€

I donā€™t want to talk about this app.

For the IP part, I meant most frequently recorded IP of those numbers. IP changes..but thereā€™s tech to route it to a source, and accounts linked to that source. For example, itā€™s the same tech Nairaland uses to ban alternate accounts when theyā€™ve banned the parent accounts. Itā€™s not totally perfect but it works if you study it well.

But in this case, it works betterā€¦thatā€™s if that number has been used for verification online, and traceable. Thereā€™s an app that does it too. Why? Most sites use third party verification softwares and OTP apps. Most of those apps sell these data on dark web through other third party retailers who resell to those geeks who mod these apps.

The work it syncs is the similar of all sought details and then it filters.

It works 80% okay

And I didnā€™t use the IP, I used the number to get the IP.

All this can work if that person exist online.

Tip: There are also sites online that provide captured IP address of phone numbers.

For the form, no, that wasnā€™t it. It already read Abuja. His details are littered online. And I didnā€™t get those from any affiliation with MTN. Thatā€™s what the apps I tell you about do: they deep scan a lot of databases, social network, etc. Some results can also be incorrect but itā€™ll suggest it too so you yourself will verify if it isā€¦esp if that results have some connection the the bunch of other results.

Is it possible to decipher virtual numbers?
Re: A Nairalander Just Scammed Me by chatinent: 1:26pm On Apr 26, 2023
rash47:

Is it possible to decipher virtual numbers?

Try this to confirm carrier: https://www.freecarrierlookup.com/

Check if it has a registered SIM network provider name. Anything short of that is voIP. But be careful that newer VoIP or virtual numbers can be tricky. And with the emergence of esims, a bit trickier too.

Your best bet is trying to use that number to open a POF.com account. If it doesnā€™t recognize the international number, itā€™s VoIP.

Most UK and US numbers you see flying around are virtual numbers tho. I mean, overused virtual numbers.
