Did you get a message or you just logged in and saw you have PPR also, did the date you got tge PPR indicated cos for a about a week now, there has been little or no news of getting PPR before the strike

Incorrect, I know people that got PPR yesterday and today respectively. Infact yesterday I saw atleast 10 PPR

Eligibility: completed
Background check: in progress
Biometric: completed
Destination: still unspecified

Visa documents number and expiry date is showing as well

PPR soon by his grace 🙏

So I applied for trv June 2021, up on till now I haven’t received any Updates from ircc. But my passport has expired since last year and I have renewed it
The issue now is, my old expired passport details is with ircc because it was valid as at when I applied.
I don’t know if this can influence the delays in my application because they obviously can’t issue visa to an expired passport.

Send a webform explaining same,
Then the new passport as attachment

Send email too to document @ nrobi
If I get the exact email I will post here

It’s nothing to worry about , I got a request today to upload my new passport since the one I applied with has expired, you’ll definitely get a request too when it’s time.

The funny thing is that the agent I used to apply has refused to give my gckey long in. The one he gave if I enter it in gckey it will show incorrect password. I tried changing password since I have the email but it’s kinda impossible from my end.

There's nothing to worry about, same happened to me too.
They sent me a REQUEST LETTER to upload the new passport since the one they have on file is expired, so they can continue processing my application.

After i uploaded it on myCIC portal. It took them two days to receive it. After another two days I received my BVL making it four days.

Application submitted in Apr 2021. Sudden BVL received on 4th April 2023. No update again. I sent a webform on 7th April but no update. I sent a mssg yesterday that no decision email after abt 2 wks that I got BVL, then later I got an email "Pls check ur cic portal for the new update"; after dat I got a "donotreply" email, and I logged in to see PPR. (Old portal).





Another May 2022 application (New Portal). BVL came 2 days ago, then also sent an email yesterday to ask why there is no decision after about 48 hrs. I got same pattern of email and logged in to see PPR.
