This is now very common. The sad part of this whole thing is that if a company’s license gets revoked, it affects its employees.

Home office will not pity you that paid 5million or 10million to get CoS. Home office will not say that it’s your company that did not give you job to complete your hours. Once your salary falls below the required, there will be problem.

My advice to anyone in this situation is to start looking for another company that can sponsor. There is what is called Home Office Sponsor Compliance Visits. These people know what to look out for. I pray none of us gets caught up in between these greedy employers mess.

Lastly, I think most of us are too focused on care homes and all these small small companies that just got sponsorship license and leaving out the big picture.

Guys look into NHS, don’t limit yourself. Band 3 HCA role is eligible for sponsorship…. Browse the nhs job website, filter out band 3 roles or higher if eligible and start submitting applications. Forget about whether they include that sponsorship is offered for the role or not, just keep applying.

It’s not an easy task, but you will come back and testify in 3-4 months from now.
Thank you so much for this post. Myself and wife are the verge of paying for COS for £9,000 . This is one of my fears. Although, a friend that introduced us is doing fine with his employer that brought him. He only time me he had issues with not getting hours to work in his first month. I don't know how ours would be and we are very careful.

My question is., can my wife make use of the NHS job site you spoke about? She's a very good fashion designer and graduate. Do we have chances of getting an offer if we do the needful for those months you spoke about?

I think like you said, there are people on inspection. The custom officer checked my CoS and wanted to let me go but another man with a different uniform came close to her, collected my passport and the CoS and started asking the questions.

Please can you explain how Dorm care is better cos most people are giving bad news concerning this Domiciliary care saying Care home is better.

Thank you as you give insights.

Dorm care is usually door to door and timed

If u can use time very well u do be able to have ur free time

Then secondly u work hours visiting maybe different clients breakfast lunch or dinner calls depending on ur office

The care home u are on ur feet 24/7 you might not have time for urself ..

The only bad part of dorm if u don't have a car or a partner that has a car u will walk and jump bus tire lol

But most offices I think ensure most times your clients re not far to each other

If u are lucky u have a full rota you can make loads of money

Not like a fixed hours y work in care home nd most times u are on Yr feet

He may not entirely be to blame. Sometimes, it's the effect of pidgin English.
In Naija, pidgin English is unconsciously becoming our official language - ask the Police...☹️ Unfortunately, some people are no longer able to distinguish formal from informal contexts.🤷🏾‍♂️

But come to think of it, some of those Caribbean countries on the UK list of countries exempted from English proficiency requirements, don't even speak or write better English than Nigerians. I don't want to mention the one that is the land of patois & ragga music.😁😅

I believe you know that’s just one person’s opinions as there are others which would believe care home is better than domiciliary care.
