The Abdullahi guy continue to miss chances again. A hardworker but just don't know where the net is. Nigeria is renowed for producing great players, it is riduculous that both these under 17 & 20 took strikers who can't score. We lost the under 20 cos we lack good strikers! Now same is happening here. How were the strikers selected? |

Marjoribanks:The U16 club games just finished. Ugbade should look at the players paraded in that tournament to see how to beef up this team 1 Like 1 Share |

This is why you don't let a defensive side score you first. The Moroccans are throwing their entire bodies in front of almost every shot the Nigerians make. |

Maroc always have bodies behind the ball. What a block!!! |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Danielnino00(m): 5:51pm On May 03, 2023 |
Ugbade needs to come up with another idea to break down this Moroccan defensive wall, otherwise they may not win the game.. They are playing well but poor in the final third... This Abdullahi guy has been missing chances |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by oloriooko(m): 5:52pm On May 03, 2023 |
Abdullahi missed a big chance The boys need to want to win this more than the Moroccans I won't be surprised if this match ends this way cuz the Moroccans have a very good defence putting their bodies on line I wonder if Nduka has any one on the bench that can change the game Our boys have one deficiency though, their shooting posture needs to be addressed |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Odogwujayy: 5:56pm On May 03, 2023 |
The boys are just just inexperienced in that final third... Won't be surprised if this match ends like this. Btw, the Moroccans are defending like their lives depends on it. 1 Like 1 Share |

Why all these wastes in front of goal? Same thing in the first match. They have to calm down with their passes and movement. The team seriously need a good striker. |

Abdullahi plays like someone freshly yanked off street football. Good pace, great stamina but next to zero technicality or positional awareness. The coaches need to calmly explain the rules of organized football to him. |

The boys are too in a haste. It's the root cause of their mistakes. They need to calm down and they'll figure the Moroccan defence out. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Curtisaxel10: 6:00pm On May 03, 2023 |
Nigeria is doing well. Maybe they would do better if they keep the ball on the ground instead of constant long passes though. Or maybe Ugbade wants to rely on the pace of his attackers and RB. |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 6:24pm On May 03, 2023 |
Famed Supersub Light Eke in for Precious Williams. Abdullahi did well getting in between and pass 2 Moroccan defenders but he shot wide. To be honest, he is yet to find his feet in this tournament. #MDU17AfconDiaries 2 Likes |

Why remove Williams? He has been the best player in that attack! Remove Favour Daniel and put a second striker to support Abdullahi! The number 15/25 guy in that midfield should be removed! |
