It is the right thing to do. Go to God and ask for forgiveness and then to your partner, confess and ask for forgiveness. I have done that before, I must tell you it is a difficult thing to do, imagine looking your partner in the eyes and telling her you cheated not once, not twice! It takes the grace of God for your spouse to forgive or forget.

Confess to one another. There is no wrong time of saying the TRUTH

Yes if a child is involved already. But, it should be done consulting God in prayer and fasting first. Because, it only takes God for human to forgive such huge sin.

Then, I forgot to tell him. Last week, that thing flashed in my memory and I quickly contacted him and told him about it. He confessed it was true, that just a week earlier, a woman almost brought him down and she had to resist her...and she's never rested. In February, something similsr happened. He almost fell but God upheld him. He was shocked when I told him. He was so grateful. He said he'd keep praying and be more careful now.

I don't regard apology as a big deal, if I offend someone I would definitely seek for forgiveness but not in a sentitive issue like adultery.

I have this feeling that my wife would never trust me again even after forgiving me, I don't wanna find myself in a situation where I would be trying to get back her trust. Anytime I don't come home early I don't want her to be saying "I hope this man has not started cheating again?"
