Greetings ladies and gentlemen. Please I'm in a serious confused state. it gives me sleepless night. I have Admission to study Msc in Engineering Technology and Management. my visa has been granted since fabruary this year. i was supposed to start my program the same fabruary but due to the fact that the visa was granted a bit late, i had to differ the admission to july intake. That same fabruary i got a job here in Nigeria. the benefit attached to the job are as follow: Salary is 540k Net. HMO for me and my family. 28 days work, 14 day time off. yearly Renewal of my contract bonus is x2 of my Salary. No pension. it's a contract job that can last for minimum of 3years. Now my confusion is quiting this job to start afresh in Australia on a study visa. Please Gurus in the house. do you think am taking a good decision in this my Australia journey? Does quitting my job for my study worth it. NOTE i have booked my flight to depart First week of june. Should i go for my tuition fee and ticket refund and continue with this new job? Moreso, my job experience is in quality control welding inspector, Bsc in Agricultural Engineering and Msc in Engineering Technology and Management. can i get PR with this my different fields. |

Hello House, good evening. Thanks guys you all are doing a good job on this platform. I got a notification from Northern Territory via email for nomination for skilled work regional (provisional) SC491 visa yesterday as a potential candidate for a nomination. I have been told review my response on the EOI and reply their mail soonest. However, I need advise on the best approach to address my major concern. I am an expectant Father by August and my unborn child will not be covered by the visa (base on my EOI) if I continue with my application. What kind of visa will I apply for the child considering the fact he/she wasn't part of my application. Thanks. |

SundayphilipNic: Your job description is what really matters and not the title. Can you find a job on the PR list that closely aligns with what you do? |

SundayphilipNic: If you are ready to struggle very well on a student visa especially since you are a family man then its good otherwise just do your job there since it has good benefit. If coming to Aus with either 491,190 or 189 or employer sponsored then its worth it N.B: if you ready to hustle hard with study and work , then you will be fine after some time say 2 or 3years 2 Likes |

nel4k:That should not be a problem. You can add a child to the application for free if the child is born before your visa is approved. You need a birth certificate to be uploaded on your Immiaccount, then upload passport afterwards. If the child is born after your visa is approved, you will have to apply for a 491 subsequent entrant for the child @ $4,240. |

MJJ: Try going for Masters. TRA will not approve. ACS may approve but 4 years is too small to go for RPL. |

Please I am interested in subclass 491 My current point Age (33) - 25 points Degree (BSc) - 15 points I am single - 10 points but I intend marrying and i heard this will affect my score English (Competent level) - I was given zero for competent level. I studied Petroleum Engineering (5yrs) but ever since I have been teaching in a school. Since I can't claim points working in the area of my choosing occupation I selected less than 3yrs experience which gave me zero. The occupation I am going for is Petroleum Engineer and I intend to pursue Western Australia nomination which do that same occupation. It also does not require me to have any relevant working experience for that occupation. Any advise on how I can boast my points? Thanks |

thousandreason:Which occupation do you want to nominate? I want to believe it’s Marketing specialist since you mentioned organisational chart. Be sure you are into marketing research and not a salesperson before you assess with Vetassess. For organisational chart, request for it via email from your organisations and use that email response as evidence to prepare a statutory declaration and design your own organogram |

damiontop:That should have been put in before you make payment. I don’t think you can add anything to your application after payment. Another option is to call ACS and ask them. Let us know how you go. |
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by tunlex01(m): 12:00pm On May 08, 2023 |
JTLawson:Get 20 points in English by writing pte and budget to write multiple times. Also give 190 or 491 a chance. It’s up to you if you want to get married but don’t make mistake of getting married or have a live-in partner and claim single. The 10 points for single is also not applicable if you are not officially married but live together. So no traditional, court or church marriages and no live-in. Cos if they discover, you will lose on all sides. Your other option is get married and claim 5 points from your spouse by writing English test or remain single till you land in Australia |
