I’ve seen/read 3 cases of people who travelled with one way ticket, I’m still waiting for a review on Friday/ Saturday. Also I feel I’ve a reasonable reason to give cbsa if questioned or worst case I will buy if required by the officer.

Some airlines staff can say anything to sell their tickets. Safe your self the tension. Book a return ticket.

But in the meantime time, you can track the status of your application with the IRCC tracker.

Like how many days can Visa documents number appear on the tracker after Bvl?

From few hours to many days, some people didn’t get any visa number rather they got a refusal letter after some days.

Similar here. BVL April 14th. Tracker showing visa number and expiry. But nothing after that

Like 1-3 days on average, but can take longer sometimes..

I’m visiting my spouse not Tourism, my proposed visit is for 3wks, the distance between her birthday and our wedding anniversary is 5wks. I can tell immigration I’m yet to decide if I will be waiting till our anniversary or not, reason I didn’t book a return ticket.

I understand booking a return ticket is good to be on the safe side. But it’s not listed anywhere as a requirement. Worst case the officer will mandate you to book a return ticket. I don’t think they’ll send someone back because of return ticket only when other documents ticks.

It’s advisable to book round-trip tickets.

I and my wife got ours 25th April..

The next update should hopefully come 19th may, so let’s hope PPR comes on or before 19th…

I can't access it, have tried several times, no error message when I put the right info, it just won't move to the next stage
But when I purposely put the wrong info, it shows that the info entered is wrong
But wen it's the right one, it just stays on the same page when I click on next

It was normal lies of IRCC now that you did not declear formal refusal which I did, though I have sent them reconsideration request and attached relevant evidence.I just feel it's their normal practice now for family application, because I was the only person that was given Bvl/refusal that Saturday my wife and two children only got Bvl.

It’s like did didn’t even go through your application just because you stated you were refused in d past..

I guess this is their new trend now… just check for previous refusals and just decide to or not to approve.. They will just copy n paste their yeye reason. Mtcheeew…….

The visa number has been on my wife page since April 29. No further updates since then.

She also applied from Naija as a Family and only travelled back thereafter, so it's more like the officers are just playing us.

Of course with my family twice,I attached everything for them,what they did was deliberate,I told them in my reconsideration letter that I can accept the refusal honourably if what they said was true or otherwise they should give me more proof. When it comes to reconsideration don't be apologetic or sounds too desperate if you do the right thing

Or can it be that because it was a Generic refusal; can there be more to the refusal other than the stated reason(s) when you order for your Gcms notes?

That is left to them,any of such refusal that did not attract PFL is not a serious reasons for refusal

I will not even wait for the reconsideration,I will reapply immediately

Dear Emma,

I disagree that anyone should buy a flight ticket while they are still expecting PPR or when the counterfoil hasn't been put on the passport yet and returned to them. Yes, the Canadian journey is faith-based, but I would advise that people take it one step at a time.

If you have gotten BVL and probably have a visa document number on your tracker, keep sending reminders until your PPR lands, then plan to send your passport and let it return to you before booking a flight.

Check KLM/Air France for June, anything outside June is crazy. Those with visa documents can book June mid-ending with faith.
