You are wrong. It’s always better to get feedbacks of your weapons through a third party than actually finding out yourself through an actual war with a formidable opposition.

You can overwhelm any defence system as no system can ever be impregnable.

Nevertheless, you need feedbacks to make your system more resilient.

Maybe Russia sent decoys together with radar-evasive missiles, could be a barrage of missiles, could be a hack of the system followed by missile barrages, could be insider job, etc.
