Pre U20 WC Friendly/Warm up

Nigeria U20 Flying Eagles vs Colombia U20 kicks off soon.

Colombia is in same WC group with Senegal, Israel and Japan.

Nigeria Flying Eagles U20 WC Prep

FT: Colombia U20 3-3 Nigeria U20.

The Flying Eagles were down 2-1 at half time. Yaser Asprilla of Watford made it 3-1 early in the second half but the lads rallied late to secure a draw.

Review their performance. Who performed? Who flopped? Which side dominated, etc.

Naija U20 Goal Scorers were:

#15 Jude Sunday, winger (Colombia 2-1 Nigeria).

#11 Ibrahim Mohammed Beji, winger (Colombia 3-2 Nigeria).

#19 Emmanuel Umeh, CF (Colombia 3-3 Nigeria).

The Own Goal we conceeded for Colombia's first goal came via #5 Abel Ogwuche mistake.

A good test overall.

NB: Emmanuel Umeh is Tochukwu Nnadi's teammate at Bulgarian side, Botev Plovdiv.

No mind our ppu…Dey re just hiding under d plethora of strikers we have, hence his decision of picking USA 🇺🇸 over Nigeria 🇳🇬

But deep down in our minds, in all spheres of life ,everybody here including d person dt quoted u will always pick USA 🇺🇸 ahead of Nigeria 🇳🇬 for the obvious reasons 😀😀

Make we no Dey form unnecessary patriotism here

Nigeria isn't even really in the equation.. It was a choice between England and USA because he already represented England at youth level. So why did he now choose USA? Abi USA is better than England too?

By the way, our national basketball team is filled with US born and breed players who don't have a problem representing Nigeria. In fact, if not for COVID-19 and injuries, we would have had either of Monte Morris and Spencer Dwindde reprsent us at the last Olympic games..they willingly choose to.. The Ogwumike sisters willingly tried to change nationality from the US to Nigeria.. Plenty of Nigerian athletes born and breed in either Nigeria or US are in US colleges and representing Nigeria.. So don't say nobody will pick Nigeria over Us... Sometimes, it isn't about the money or the clout

You dey tag my statistical reference “misrepresentation”. He is currently number 4 in La Liga 2, and that’s what matters most.

Number 4 in what please.❓

Because what does that actually mean what's the unit of measurement what are the key performance indicators that allowed a statistic based deduction that he is number 4. Number 4 in what ❓

Does that mean he is the 4th best Midfield player in the Segunda division ❓

Let me give contextual comparison, some time ago when Cardiff where in the EPL. There was a time when Sol Bamba Cardiff City CB had better statistics than Virgil Van Dyke.

A reflection of the fact that they spent their brief time in the EPL defending desperately. As a consequence they had high number of clearances and tackles etc.

Did that make Sol Bamba better than Virgil Van Dyke absolutely not.

The lesson some statistics are indicative and not conclusive and must taken in CONTEXT.

I could add Ndidi had oustanding defensive statistics but did that make him the best DM in the EPL ❓and or better than Ngole Kante ❓

I am waiting for your response with interest.

Your need to expand please.

What makes him the 4th best Midfielder in the Segunda division ❓

Those are statistical non contextual ratings and each rating body will have different ones.
