This is exactly one of the angles I hoped anyone here will hit on. This just goes to show Bosso never wanted Akinsanmiro Ebenezer.

4 days to the opening game and Eletu is still balling for AC Milan U19 meanwhile Inter U19 were willing to let Akin join one week to the tournament opener and Bosso said NO. Na wa.

Worse is the fact that they have been playing hide and seek with the information on Eletu's expected arrival in camp.

The NFF media guys even reported we won a friendly game 3-2 in Argentina while we actually played 2-2. The club we played with reported it on their handle as 2-2 but the NFF insisted it was 3-2 and even named the Scorers. I don't know what agenda they are trying to run with by reporting a false result. Is it to give the impression that the team is truly good to go for the mundial? Honestly.... lots of shady nonsense going on around this team.

Eletu apparently has big guys behind him, it's why he got preferential treatment Akinsanmiro didn't get. There's also allegedly an ongoing battle between the NFF and Remo Stars that may likely prevent their products from being a part of age grade teams.

In all, it just shows how bad things will get with Gasau

"Official: Brentford striker Ivan Toney has been suspended from all football and football-related activity with immediate effect for eight months.

He has also been fined with £50,000 —and warned as to his future conduct for breaches of The FA’s Betting Rules."

This likely just killed any potential move that could happen this summer.

With regards to Tobi, are you telling me that the US didn't notice her exploit in the NCAA, commonwealth games and the African championship? Let's agree that the interest wasn't there, she could still have represented another country.. IAAF rule makes it easy for athletes to switch nationality, but she didn't...

As for the women basketball team, I agree with you.. But again, the WNBA is not that much of a big league.. the rooster spots are limited, so the players need the national team exposure too ..Unlike NBA players that mostly don't care.. At the last men world cup, team US fielded a squad of mostly second rated players..a squad that I believe the like of Spencer can easily make.. Look at Gabe Vincent...went all the way from being a 2 way player to a starter and one of the Heats most important player this season... He plays for Nigeria too..
Wetin you dey talk sef.

Tobi Amusan is not a US citizen. How could she have represented the US without being a citizen? She was born in Nigeria.

Oga Kog, please stop reading Nigeria sport papers.
Those guys are the worst sport journo in Africa. I rememeber that idiot pulse sport going under ManUnited's page to tweet against buying Oshimen. Can you imagine that?
My source is primary (Folarin's tweeter page).
Folarin waited for Southgate's last Euro qualifiers list and when he was not listed he wrote on his story "go where you are appreciated". Saying he selected USA over England is false.
In series of his interviews and tweet he was open to playing for Nigeria before the United States coach and FA sent him an invite to the USA.
He even attended some basketball games and was treated to a celebrity status yet waited for Southgate's invite. lol!
Nigeria did not even care cos we don't need him.
Moffi is only 3 goals away from him. Iheanacho was in his best form before his injury. Boniface highest goal scorer in Europa.
Orban fastest hattrick in UEFA competition.
Awo in the form of his life.
King Oshimen.
So, why die over a player with one good season. Oga Kog you should know better! Joebie na IPOB normally.

Nff will have no choice but to use remo stars products or else they want to embrace failure.
It is one of the few academies in the country where the products succeed in the big leagues of Europe and it has a big plan for Nigerian football.
U cannot romance failure for too long. Very soon u will be exposed. So if remo stars product play for inter Milan, many or real Madrid will nff keep ignoring them for oaroichal reasons

My elder no fear at all. If it were athletics, we would have lost quite a number of our players already.

As regards FIFA, Those with 2 or more nationalities, it’s a case by case issue. I wasn’t surprised about Folarin. We were not going to make a move based on the prevailing circumstances looking at our current arrack options. Similar thing happened with Ike ugbo.

I have been suspecting this for a good while because till now I never understood how a gifted U17 striker like Arierhi Kparobo didn't make the Nigerian U17 Golden Eaglets.

He shone at the MLS Generation Next Cup in the USA with 2 goals and 2 assists.

Also, he and Promise Meliga are currently tearing up the National League One (Nigerian Third Tier) with Remo Stars' BLFA as Bloody U17 Teenagers yet somehow none of them and no single Remo product made the National U17s.

Honestly, denying remo products the chance to fight for places in our youth sides because of ego and politics will only deny the nation the opportunity to see some of the best youngsters in our youth system participate in national assignments before they even get to Europe.

He is the number 4 rated player in the league based on average score all games put together.

It's inconsequential and academic because nobody is rating him as top player.

Has any La Liga club come for him or we are waiting for Napoli ❓

Maybe he can get third division in Turkey .

Let’s look at the reality on ground. Balogun’s chances with England is dicey. Then look at the USMNT’s international record. USA overall has performed beyond expectations at the WC based on the talents they have over the years. Shows they have a great soccer administration. Then also consider which country needs him most. It’s a no brainer! He made the right choice. Me I no go dey play for banana plantation here and there and be arguing over my match bonuses, when I should be getting premium treatment with the US. Then think retirement, you are on your own. Our football admins need to show a high degree of patriotism. Let’s focus on that, and we will have more talents wanting to play for Nigeria.

I disagree with the bold.

Our football admins need to show a high degree of professionalism, competence, strategic and forward planning, financial probity, meritorious organisational culture, integrity, honesty, etc to name just a few .

What value is patriotism without integrity, honesty and competence ❓

I'm sure PMB is regarded as patriotic.

Most of the Senegalese, Algerians and Morrocans players do not take match bonuses playing for their country.
It's pathetic that ignorant people just come here to spit trash!
Folarin practically said he wanted to play for us. Why stress inviting him when we have more than 4 strikers better than him?

Did we invite him and he refused? No?
USMNT wanted and needed him desperately and he agreed to play for them. What is all these cry all about?

Apart from V.O. please name the 4

No player is stupid not to demand match bonus etc playing for Nigeria, a country/FA ran by people who have no iota of patriotism or won’t sacrifice a thing. You are delusional.

Do you know that a lot of Nigeria's born players sign off their match bonus to different NFF officials.

Thats why match bonus of Nigerian players is paid in cash 💸💵💲, so it's deducted at source.

It's not paid into bank accounts for obvious reasons 😞

She was prolly on an F1 Visa at UTEP where she schooled. Assuming she has permanent residence now, she will still have to wait till it's up to five years,
apply for citizenship then wait an extra three years while not turning for Nigeria all the while. Two Olympics would have passed already. That's not a wise thing to do unless you don't have a chance with the country you're representing.

Nobody will be stupid enough to be suggesting such a thing especially when it's not a team sport.

As an individual athlete, besides the financial support, you don't need a team like a soccer team.
