brain54:Procter and Gamble, Nigerian breweries. Nigerian bottling company, Asejire, few kilometers from Ibadan. 7up bottling company Oluyole. Emzor pharmaceutical, Jericho Ibadan. Neimeth pharmaceutical Ibadan. These are basically the major industries in Nigeria. Ibadan also has many local industries, more than Enugu. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Workch:This is quite fair… But in my opinion these companies you listed are major companies in Nigeria. With branches/ presence all over cities in Nigeria. To me an industrialized city is one with many small and medium scale industries not just one or two major production companies. I will rate Agbara in Ogun state more industrialized than Ibadan. And yes… I mentioned Enugu is not industrialized. Only known for its serenity and better urban planning. It’s more of a city to relax. Just same like Jos! 2 Likes |

One thing I have sha learnt is that Lokoja is the most under developed state capital in Nigeria because that is one thing everyone here seems to agree on. Out of all the states I have been to I think ekiti should be the most under developed. Note I have been to all the south western state, Benin and Asaba. 2 Likes |

The age of these capital cities should also be taken into consideration. Some of them just created not long ago compared to all these evening newspaper capital cities. 2 Likes |

OVB123:Useless gay, must you start with the southeast? Why not start with your dilapidated village in osogbo. You can't compare any state in the Southeast with any of those nonsense in the south-waste, except for lag, which is only for the seaport, else it's a dirty stinking slum too. 7 Likes

I can't say much for the worst among them. As for me, Nnewi remains the most industrialized city in the Southeast, most of the industries in the Southeast are located there, trust me, many of them. Keep this to yourself, it's a secret and that's why the city is not that congested maybe it's because of the city plan too. This city doesn't joke with electricity, minimum of 19hrs daily, except for times issue arises and it doesn't exceed 2 or 3days to get fixed, before industries will start losing money, and that's problem for the electricity officials. I so enjoyed that city before I moved back to Enugu, strictly on transfer, if not, I don't even feel like leaving again. Duty always call sha.. 4 Likes |
