Hello guys. Good day. I just started following this thread.

Please any idea on how much I’d need to budget in Total to leave for Australia.

I and my wife. She as a student, myself as dependent. I’ll really appreciate if anyone can give me an idea as to how much to budget. 👏🏽

Hi Gurus

Please I have a question about expired skills assessment which I would appreciate your insights on.

My skills assessment expired a day after I lodged my 190 visa application, do I need to get a new skills assessment or is the old one still good to use since it technically expired after visa application?

For skills assessment I know people are advised to get a new one if theirs expires before they lodge the visa application, but mine expired AFTER lodging and application fees payed.

Please has any one been in similar situations? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

You applied before it expired so it should not be a problem.

After you have landed and have funds enough to take care of your family. You can apply the second day you land provided they can prove they will return upon completion of your degree

you need pension and or tax statement for those 5 years else it may be difficult to prove your experience with cash in this age

Hello everyone,

Tomorrow would make it exactly 6 weeks I submitted my application to ACS. Is there anyone else like me constantly checking the site every 30 mins? This anxiety must go round lol

I got the attached email from ACT Canberra after I recieved their pre invite and applied for their Nomination.
I was assessed by TRA as an Electrical engineering technician. My assessment outcome letter does not carry Migration Points Advice but they refused me based on that.

I need assistance please

Thanks. Please can you assist me with PTE and IELTS materials if you have any?

tunlex01:

Get 20 points in English by writing pte and budget to write multiple times. Also give 190 or 491 a chance.
It’s up to you if you want to get married but don’t make mistake of getting married or have a live-in partner and claim single. The 10 points for single is also not applicable if you are not officially married but live together. So no traditional, court or church marriages and no live-in. Cos if they discover, you will lose on all sides.
Your other option is get married and claim 5 points from your spouse by writing English test or remain single till you land in Australia

There's been a recent trend of delay in the ACS assessment. The timeline is now 3-4 months. No cause for alarm.

I am an external auditor with over 5 years' experience, I want to get my skills assessed, so I can submit EOI.

Which organization do I write to? How do I go about it?

Thanks.

In my opinion, the assessor is right to refuse your nomination as it is stated clearly that "the work experience after your qualification must be assessed as relevant by the assessing body if they offer point advise service". I am sure you have included work experience after your qualification as it is a requirement for ACT nomination.
TRA offers both migration skills assessment and migration points advise. I am sure you have selected only migration skills assessment during your assessment with TRA. Unfortunately you will have to go back to TRA for a migration points advise.

Thanks for this. Please is there any other state in Aussie that require the Migration Points Advice apart from ACT. I want to know if its worth paying another 450 AUD for. Also, all the people I know that were assessed by TRA only did the MSA and used same for their nomination approval like NSW. Thanks boss. Waiting....

TRA does not have fast track
Hello @Tunlex01 and @Bellong. Please advise on this. I'm trying to get my Tax Clearance Certificate from Ghana for the duration I worked 2012 to 2016. But the GRA office said the System can only be back dated 3 years from now so meaning. I will get Tax Clearance certificate from 2020 to 2023.
Will this work for TRA as a pay evidence or I should get the Statutory declaration from the High Court.
I have the payslip and my bank account is dormant, so I cant get statements. I need another pay evidence. Please advise on this.
Thank you

okay. Estate management is usually 5 years. Was that same with your degree?
if it's 5 years, you can give it a try. It's 50-50.
What was the duration of the teaching practice during your PGDE?

you dont have enough courses in your Bachelors or masters to perform as an External auditor here. Your degree needs to be in Accounting.
