More reason why you need to study it because it’s a near-peer war that’s indirectly a peer because a lot of NATO regular forces and Special Forces are actually in Ukraine - unlike the Giant vs Ant war the world has been subjected to in the last 4 decades.

This war provides an insight into what will likely happen when super powers collide (since neither side would’ve air superiority), how they will shape battlefield in real time, how they adapt tactics in real time, how useful drones are for reconnaissance, the importance of artillery, intelligence gathering, modern EW, battle of special forces, etc.

You can’t weaken a military when it’s not depleted. Conversely, since last year, Russian forces are actually more experienced and hardened than NATO forces because they have first hand experience in a real war - not the shenanigans against cow herders.

Bakhmut went down, just like Mariupol city. The hardest and brutal way possible, so bloody that it only exist in horror movies.

Zelensky, aided by the western media propaganda were covering up the daily loses there just like Mariupol. They never admitted to the ongoing slaughter of the Ukranian forces daily. Instead they covered it up for cheap chestbeating in the media. They kept sending the soldiers to their death.

Bllions of dollar worth of military equipment, aid, assistance from US, UK and other war-mongers ,flushed down the drain. Even the medicore overhyped Patrotiic-missile system couldn't save anyone. No wonder US backed-Ta!wan President stated it clearly yesterday, that they will never go to war with Ch!na no matter what. Everybody is finally seeing the reality in Ukraine. If US succeed in pushing anyone to war with its neighbour. They are on their own.

US struggled with Japan too. It struggled with ragtag Communist militias in Vietnam and was defeated. Struggled with Korea and China during the Korean war and it was defeated ending the Korean war with stalemate despite the use of its vast airpower.

Same US Struggled against goat herders in Afghanistan and fled overnight to the shock of the world.
