I actually decided to check the map of Russian controlled areas in Ukraine and discovered that Russia forces are quite close to Kiev.

Anyway, any victory will be pyrrhic. Russia has sunk too much money into the war, lost so many troops and it would keep its economy in limbo for decades to come.
