Rest.

Obi was returned unopposed by voice affirmation.

So there was no need for voting by delegates.

But even if delegates voted, the presidential primary happened over one year ago and can no longer be challenged.

Tell your paymasters to try another thing.

Voice affirmation by who? Spirits? Only a legally constituted delegate can affirm the candidate.

Yes, the case is a pre-election matter that should have been raised immediately after the primary election last year. Same applies to all the qualification issues raised by Peter Obi against Tinubu and Shettima in his petition. If the tribunal can listen to all the pre- election issues raised by Peter Obi, they will also listen to all pre-election issues raised by others against all Labour Party candidates. They either dismiss all for lack of jurisdiction or sustain all. APC is simply digging pitfalls around all your tribunal cases and you guys just can’t see.

Isn't this an indictment on inec and the govt ?you didn't monitor yet you ratify the product of the primaries to the extent they participated in your election and won ...were inec jazzed ? At this point is important to say that the chairman if inec should be jailed ..infact all elections he conducted is fake and lacks credibility

Including the one in Abia that produced Alex Otti. grin

Question now is if inec didn't monitor the delegate Congress in the south east

Who were the delegates from the south east that nominated obi
If indeed you're conversant with how the Labour party came into force you'll know that Peter Obi never passed through primary but by indirect imposition after porting from pdp to labour party. He was seen as the heavyweight to champion their party to victory.

I hope my explanation is clear enough tho I'm a no supporter of any party just neutral

INEC cannot on its own reject LP submission. It is the opponent that can challenge it which is going on now.

Where were you when for the same reason, APC lost everything 100% in Zamfara and Rivers in 2019?

I think you should be wiser than your emotion.... let ELUU-P tender their evidence of notifying INEC about their primaries.

See, electoral law is very clear, law has nothing to do with your emotion.

[quote author=Penguin2 post=123262455]Statute barred.

Nothing will come out of this.

Meanwhile INEC has shown that it is just a branch of APC.

It responded to an inquiry from APC with a speed of light but the Presidential Election Petition Court ordered it since March to provide Labour Party with the documents they need to prosecute their case but they have blatantly continued to disobey that order.

No wahala!

Ogbeni, INEC didn't refuse nadah. It's Obi that refused to pay documents processing fee to INEC. Meanwhile, pdp and apc both paid to hv access to required documents. They wanted to blackmail INEC in court for access to these documents but, INEC was smarter than them by telling the Judges of the refusal of Obi to toe the path of laid down commission rules to obtain any documents which is" payment of certain amount knowing as processing fee"

The most ineffective and corrupt institution in Nigeria, INEC has just cleared every doubt that it is just a department under the APC.

E no go better for all INEC officials who have colluded with the APC to subvert the people's will.

They will pay handsomely for this crime against the Nigerian people.

They will cry on their last days and all the evil they did will chaperone them to hell.

which one is rest

Una hate transparency abi

The law states that the delegates from states must be there unless court limits them base on rivalry

It means illegal delegates joined in affirming obi

Voice votes as unanimous is still the same as voting cos they must all sign to it

You can see it's not about whether it's last year, it's about illegal process

No common sense.

INEC did not monitor and yet the same INEC accepted and uploaded the lists presented for the elections. Without accepting and uploading the lists, how could the candidates have proceeded to election?

Where is the illegality, with what INEC on it's own accepted and applied?

You're the one embarrassing yourself. Can INEC reject any political party's candidates list ? The answer is no because it's only a court of competent jurisdiction that can direct INEC to reject any list submitted to it .

Tinubu's forfeiture case is not a criminal case and he was never convicted of any wrong doings.

Your candidates emerged through a kangaroo and faulty primaries but you guys been projecting them like Alphas and Omegas whereas they are even worse than those you demonize on a daily basis

INEC cannot reject candidates of a political party?
