I would say go for data analytics, data and web pay almost same but there are more things to learn in dev and more things to do.

Check out lighthouselab bootcamp, they were funded by the government to give scholarship at some point this year, I don't know if it's still open.

Likewise, don't be limited to Manitoba, I don't know how the tech job market is over there but you should always be open to remote

Just to clarify about Lakehead university.

*Most universities who offer the accelerated BSN will require you pass the prerequisites as part of their application criteria. For these schools the program would normally run for 2 years.

*Lakehead university offers the prerequisites as part of your first year course, including some other core nursing courses. So, you do not need to write the prerequisites before applying. And the accelerated BSN program is 3years (or 2yrs 8months if you count it that way). I think this is fair because if you include the time you need to study for and write the prerequisites before applying to those schools that run the program for 2 years then it adds up.

*To get exemption for the prerequisites, you need to submit your course description from your previous studies. I submitted this and got exemption for statistics. I know someone who got exemption for psychology too. So, in first year I took psychology, anatomy and physiology plus other nursing courses.

* Also, in Lakehead university clinical placement starts from year one whether you're doing the 4yrs degree or accelerated degree. I don't know what is obtainable in other schools.

*The accelerated degree program in Lakehead university is quite intensive. Be ready to STUDY. A lot of students are able to work while going to school, you just have to know your own capabilities and decide how many hours you can sacrifice for work. Also, after your first year you are qualified to work as a PSW ($20.68/hr where I worked).
* About the 10 years timeline, I'm not sure what the conditions are in Lakehead university. But I finished my first degree over 10 years ago and was able to get admission.

Pls I sent you an email... I would appreciate it if you can reply. I'm entering Ontario this fall2023, but would want to transfer to a nursing program... Would appreciate your private coaching/guidance on how to go about it.

Thanks

If you're still in Nigeria, check with your bank cos there might be charges involved, otherwise carry dollars either usd or cad and buy temporary credit card at the airport if you so require.

Good Evening,

Quick question. Can a family of 5 survive with an income of 140 CAD in Oshawa? Wife does not work for now. Plan to land finally over summer after soft landing last year.

Thanks for your help.

Very unlikely. Though it's possible, it's not typical to get a job paying that much from Naija and they won't be rushing you to come over immediately.

I just saw that you’re moving to Calgary. My family and I are based in Calgary and we’ve been here for over 24 years now. Do let me know if you need any assistance in settling in Calgary once you arrive. Also my church offers free settlement services and provides assistance with securing accommodation and help with resume for job search. Let me know if you need more details.

njambert:

I have no experience with any of the two countries above. Will be moving to Calgary in a few weeks time, having lived in China for 7yrs( great place, just not having favourable laws for longterm stay and lack of some freedoms).I think your choice of movement should weigh far above the PR fees.Because in the grand scheme of things, the PR fees are negligible compared to the longterm benefits you will get regardless which country you choose. So you need to weigh the pros and cons of both the UK and Canada, and thoroughly go through these with your wife.
There are already generalities between both countries that we all know. You have to dig deeper before deciding.

Don’t sound ignorant or limited in your mind. Not everything is a scam. Yes this account is new and we’ve intentionally come to Naiaraland to cater to new immigrants coming to the city of Calgary. Visit www.gmcccalgary.org to learn more about who we are. Our church in Calgary offers settlement services in Calgary for free. Emails can be sent to info@gmcccalgary.org.

So what’s a scam about the above? Have we asked for any money to be sent to us? Have we asked for anyone’s personal information to be divulged?

Nigeria drivers license need an extract with ur Nigerian licence it will give you an experience of 1 year before you can go for G but with extract from G 1 you just go to test for G

Hello friends, I am working on getting my DL extract AKA Driving history/record before I leave for Canada(Saskatchewan) in July. I have been directed to an FRSC website. I wonder if anyone has got an experience using the website to obtain the DL extract? They also asked about the address, email and phone number of the receiving authority. I am not sure about how to get that. Additionally, the mentioned that the delivery mode is digital copy... I have read where some folks said that they were asked to get the hardcopy of the original extract. Any contribution to all these questions will be appreciated.

The address is the Saskatchewan licensing authority google it to see their full name, they will send soft copy but what people do is to look for a computer center and print it out as coloured so you can have hard copy as well

Thanks for this insight. I wanted to be sure before I coughed out their 50K fee. Can't afford to waste money. And one more question, please. Do you know if it has validity period like that of police character certificate? If so, I may schedule the application close to my travel time.

I don't really know about validity but to be on the safer side if it can be done a month or less before ur travel it will be good then when u travel you start the process so that even if there is validity it can't be less than 3months
