Keep crying. We do not need him. If Nwakali had the same priviledge of growing up in England, he won't even be at Crystal Palace at 25 years. Rest! He only has one Euro and one world cup if he is fortunate. Sancho, Sterling, Ferguson, Mount are breathing down on his neck. We wish him all the best. His inclusion in the Eagles won't make us win a world cup and we could win AFCON without him. Rest!
imagine retaining hope in a player that haven’t done anything tangible for 7 seasons

I’m glad that the u20 team hv decent midfielders that will grow to add more steel to or midfield

If he remain at Naples he won't score ten goals next season. Those White guys are becoming selfish. His last 3 goals did not come from good assists but from real hussle. The time to leave is now!
Papi85:
he will be a massive hit at United but many want him to remain at Naples 🤣

The Argentine fans are having a party celebrating France's concession of a penalty which could put Gambia 2-0 ahead.

The French GK plays mind games to destabilise the taker.

French players complain of the argentine fans screaming towards their goal, ref waves them off.

Penalty is taken and French GK saves!!

Partial Heartbreak for the Argentine fans. This U20 WC has its dramatic episodes. 😂😂

And Gambia pays for their penalty miss minutes later. France equalise on 61mins.

France 1-1 Gambia.

Still wondering why the Gambian lads didn't give Adama Bojang that penalty.

The Gambia u20 just beat France to qualify for the round of 16

Remember the name
Adama Bojang
Thé Gambians did look bigger than a number of our players when we encountered them in the Afcon semis

Weird Senegal couldn’t do anything in this tournament
Backyard champions maybe shocked

They won’t get anything from a South American team
Especially when they didn’t from Israel

Brazil should forget jongo bonito and embrace European style of football

Football currently is all abt organization not individual skill set anymore

Maybe this is the reason they re scouting for an European coach to handle their national team

You are probably right. Colombia is one of the strong sides in this tournament.

But thing is, until Senegal loses or fails to get a result, they are still technically in the competition. Tu comprends? So let us wait for their D-Day to be certain. 🤝🏻😉

if you watch their national teams play they are too individualistic and plays to the gallery a lot

Football is more systematic, formation and tactics based

When those boys lose form, na we go still troll then. Life is good! See Torunarigha, today, he can’t even get into out defense line up, not that we don’t need CB o.

@Emboldened... These words of yours are closer to manifestation than you realise. They have been singing in my head since.

Soon, we would indeed witness a quality boom in our midfield options as we have with the attack.

Lol. Joe. We are allowed to constructively criticize, encourage as well as praise our players. It's normal naa. That's the balance.

Also, the deeper the pool of talents across each position then the easier it would be to have a poor form-player replaced by a more in-form player who might also, in some instances, be an upgrade.

The more the qualityoptions, the more we don't get stuck on certain players even when they consistently show poor form.

Omo, the guy read our post for NL o.. na so the guy enter fifth gear outperform Olise as the season dey conclude.. it's really over.. Southgate win another one.. looking at saka in the list as well.. chai!!!

it is what it is.. u sef join to put asterisks for he name.. e pain us sha. but life goes on.. harvest time is coming in our midfield department. what happened to our attack will happen to our midfield. Amen

We already started having a midfield boom since the last 2 years but they are not getting called up. Iwobi, ndidi, Onyedika, onyeka, Yusuf, tijani, bonke, Nwakali.

Akinsamiro, eletu, daga, olowoporoku e.t.c won't get called up until 2027... The super eagles coaches will say they are too young.

Apart from that the last game against Brazil must be taken seriously because there will be more Brazilian fans and it will indirectly be a home game for Brazil and Brazil don't waste their chances.

The U20 eagles defense is shaky so they need to defend better.

na the likes of Tomori, Alli, Saka i dey talk about o. abi are they still "our" players?

in a perfect world we are suppose to win them when they are ripe and drop them when they lose form. Continuous competition. Like you just implied, the more the merrier.

What we had in the last 2 years wasn't much of a boom because even among those options not enough ball playing or CAM profiles existed.

But with the rise of Daga, Akinsanmiro, Eletu, Nnadi, Ebube Okere, Azeez Oseni and more added to Iwobi, Ndidi, Alhassan, Onyedika, Nwakali, Onyeka, Bonke, we are indeed experiencing insane depth across all sort of Midfield profiles if the coaches get it right in terms of selection and fairness to call up more of these midfield options.

As for Olowoporoku, he is 14. Still eligible even for the next U17 set. Don't rush him.

The Flying Eagles defence is strong through the middle. The CBs are a joy. Our weakness is the fullbacks although Bameyi tried in the last game with his work ethic and defensive acts. Agbalaka is yet to show his Afcon form but has been just okay. Hopefully they show better improvement next game.

The truth is that we will be really fortunate if a quarter of those midfield options really make it a the big level.
