Hello, Does anyone know how long it takes to get your passport back from the US embassy, using the Dropbox/interview waiver option. The application was submitted as a PR and sent through the post office.

Hey guys landed in London Ontario about a month ago. So far it has been hard to get a job and GTB told me they had reduced upkeep from Form A to only 600usd per quarter. So my foreign currency is a little scarce and I don't want to spend it all buying food when I still have rent and the rest to pay. So I thought about shipping food from Nigeria but the price DHL gave my people over N200,000 just for items bought less than N70,000 seems expensive so does anyone know a reliable cheaper shipping method from Nigeria (Abuja) to Canada?

How about getting food items from grocery stores?
You should be able to prepare stew to eat with rice, pasta, and beans

Benedict, there are many people doing this business on Instagram like shullyfoodexport, canadacargo, myafrimall and many others. Those will be cheaper than DHL.

I don't want to be spending scarce FX on food. I haven't gotten a job yet.

Good day everyone, please is there anyone here in corner brook, Newfoundland, or anywhere in Newfoundland?
I just want any valuable pointers about accommodation, fellow students in the school, jobs a student can do when school starts, or even any WhatsApp group to associate with Nigerians in the province.
also, can I come months before resumption since I got the visa early?
I recently got a passport request for my program to start in fall 2023, at the College of North Atlantic, corner brook campus, Newfoundland.

Hello, did you eventually get whatapp group for CNA students, am an applicant and would like to join one, thanks

Hello All,

Can you use a temporary address to get the following sorted:

- Ontario Health Card
- Exchange European Drivers licence for an Ontario one
- Open bank accounts

What about enquiries for school? what happens if you are still in a temporary accommodation/airbnb when it is time for kids to be enrolled for school?

Cheers.

Yes to all.
For school, you’d have to get your new address in the same school zone if you dont want to change schools. All you’ll need to do is update the address with the school after moving.
