If you have bought fuel @ 488/litre and you are on the mainland. Today,I will advise you to park your car . If not you will just slave away for Bolt today.

Just bought fuel at N490 this morning

5K fuel used to be half tank of my car before the subsidy removal.

Now 5k no even reach quarter tank. And Bolt expect me to drive low prices and still pay 25% commission. They must be joking

You see why you are foolish? Fuel was increased by 163percent? If you went to school, you wouldn't have been driving kabu kabu since 2016 and bragging about it as your chosen career. grin It also show the dumb nature of this thread. Typical kabu kabu mentality that none can correct you.

You actually believe that the fuel increase will work in your favour, how dumb a way of thinking. Ewu empanu

Sorry for quoting you as I'm not involved in you guys buohara.
But this is the correct calculation.

Inside life.
I usually gross 25k with 4k fuel (21 Ltr.).
Now, the new pump price will get me an 8 Ltr. of fuel with my 4k.
The question is, can 8 litre fuel gross me my 25k?

Just park your car o... wish I am at home, I have few things to do around OJota. Riders are not adding kobo, bolt is not on surge and drivers are still rushing trips. After they will say the business is bad, while drivers are the main problem.

Why are you surprised? Someone here has been reminding us of the outcome of subsidy removal. He has been harmering on it and we all know that very soon subsidy will be removed!

I only pity delivery guys, but then I guess they should join the telegram group, so they can make enough profit even if fuel sells for 1k per litre.

Asides the abracadabra ∆, to be candid I think bolt is better to use now.....though a lot of riders have started complaining bitterly, only God knows how long bolt will hold this down, cos some have started using commercial buses.

Indrive and Rida are still sleeping. Opened Rida this morning and the prices are almost the same....just a slight increase, same as Indrive.

I've not worked for 3 weeks now though. I've been seriously ill. Wanted to start yesterday but couldn't get fuel. Now that it has increased to 488, na to reason wetin to use my life do remain!

God go help us!

Necessity has always been the mother of invention.
Whatever u discover, let God lead.

Initial price is 188
50 % increment will 188 + 94 (50% of initial price) = 282
100% increment will be 188 + 188 (100% of initial price) = 376
150% increment will be 188 + (188+94) = 470

Now, for those who don't understand my salary earners post yesterday....

This thread has been a compendium of events since 2016. When this thread started, fuel was being sold at 87naira and uber driving was considered a lowly and shitty job by salary earners.

Fast-forward to 2021 when I started asking salary earners to leave their stupid jobs if they were earning 200k and below and pick a car and start driving. There were a lot of back and forth with insults of course. It's all in my posts.

Now, fuel is at least 488 per liter. Guess who'll be hit the most? Salary earners. I'm just here to remind them because the argument rages on. I don't care what you say. Salary earners are fucked_. As a driver I can comfortably continue my life by jacking up prices. When I started the shout, few people took me serious. Now they have been prepared for this moment.

If you think I'm making fun of salary earners, you're right. It's their turn. We've endured their shit_ on this thread for far too long. I'm not seeing epistles on promotions and bonuses. grin grin They are all useless. Guess what? More increments are coming. Wait for inflation to hit properly. My posts will always be here to say I TOLD YOU so.

I have no regrets, no remorse. My words are mine as they have always been. I'll say what I want whether e sweet you or not. If e pain you, e dey sweet me....

Yesterday I bought fuel 15k. 10% of your monthly salary. I grossed 45k 30% of your monthly salary. Fuel is above half tank. Am I affected? No fucking_ way. No complains. Those are the consequences of your bad decisions and I'll be here to always remind you.

wink

You would get 160percent increase

So sorry you must not be an Engineering student before you can solve that

I think bolt should be reasonable enough to reduce their commission at this time, the subsidy removal is not going to affect them but the drivers.

Dullard doesn't know that a 300percent increase is

Value of the percentage increase=300% *189

The New value would be =189+ value of percentage increase

Simple mathematics

We can handle the riders by ourselves.
