tenderjunkie: I also heard that they don't allow first time travellers to use "one-way" tickets . I have been avoiding them ever since. |

🙏🙏Please after an Upfront medical at IOM, how long does it take to get a response from them. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by zubizareta(m): 4:26pm On Jun 04, 2023 |
Rapujoshua: Upfront medical? What exactly are you expecting to hear from them? Instead you will be hoping Ircc contacts them for your medical result. Hope you have sent your medical sheet to ircc.?? Except you aren't referring to upfront medical |

Good day everyone. I have few questions to ask again. my letter of explanation is 7 pages excluding proof such as certificates and other document. Is it okay? If I add all my proof documents below the letter as explained and referred from the letter above, I feel like everything will be up to 30 pages. Is it okay? Please kindly give suggestions If I am on the wrong path? |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by TradeSunMoore: 4:54pm On Jun 04, 2023 |
Rapujoshua:Results are sent direct to IRCC. If you have applied for visa already then forward the medical slip by web form and email. If you are yet to apply then include the slip as part of your submission |

The main explanation was all in my SOP and my SOP was 3 and half pages Olumain4: |

The number of pages doesn't matter. Everyone's story is different As long as your LOE or SOP contains all the required details If you have many pages, you would merge and compress the pages so the storage space of the pages wont be large cos using the Gc key portal, your uploads should not be more than 4mb.. If you want to DIY, you must be someone who is organized and pays attention to details. Last month alone, I came across 2 applications that were denied based on poor documentation. In one of the applications, almost all the documents submitted where over compressed and distorted making them impossible to read. Naturally you don't expect the VO to approve what he can't see. And when I was talking to the applicant he was practically weeping on the other end of the phone. Some of you scan documents upside-down, sideways and anyway. Some, write xxxxxxx and still expect a miracle to happen. It will not! For an application where decisions will be made based on the paper work you present. If you don't have the patience to do a thorough work, respect yourself and look for a agent. jaydave: 4 Likes |

I am currently a corps member and supposed to pass out in November 2023. Please is there any way I can conclude my nysc in time to meet up with the program if my study permit is approved. Also do I need to explain the NYSC situation in my SOP during study permit application. |

wole24:She can bring dependents on one year course ..for the applicants VO will consider strong ties to country of origin :source of funds /employment and assets! Including purpose of visit for the spouse! |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by wole24: 7:12pm On Jun 04, 2023 |
Thanks for your response. She's applying alone in this case after which the spouse and kids will apply if her Visa is approved. And also, what purpose of visit can the spouse present? Predator188: |

Ekeowacollins01: To the best of my knowledge. Apply for visa, if your visa is approved, great. Then pay for a year and try to defer to winter. Or you can msg the school if you can defer first before you pay I dont think there is a way to fast track nysc. I maybe wrong. Tell your regional coodinator about your situation. |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Chechem: 8:22pm On Jun 04, 2023 |
Dessymond394: In addition to the concerns that you are addressing, add othe important details, like the course and how it relates to your work, why you chose the school, proof of fund etc. Every bew application is viewed on its merit, they won't go and pull out the SOP in your previous application. So write a complete LOE. Simply just get your previous SOP and include the concerns your are addressing there. |
