If you fill your tank and gross 35k plus, how much fuel did you use?

I bought fuel 15k grossed 47k and have half tank left. How much fuel did I use?

7500.

7500 fuel is 15ltrs
15ltrs on Lagos road will serve you at most 150km
That's Ikeja to Lekki 5 times...
I guess your single trip will be like 10k then.

Don't be in a hurry to type nonsense.

Average city consumption for a corolla like mine, without check engine light on and no abnormal consumption is 7.4l per 100km

So using your statistics 15 liters should last for over 200km. If your car can't attain this, it's not my fault. Change mechanic.

Lekki to Ikeja is about 35km so Ikeja to lekki 5 times is 175km. Not 150km. I'll do this and still have fuel left. Stop pulling statistics out of your arse. Speak with experience. Don't follow crowd. Use your brain

Now let me give my own analysis from my point of view about this fuel issue / driver earnings debate

1000naira fuel @185/litre is 5.4litres
So 1k gives 4000-4,500 gross on my 2.4litre vehicle but will be using 4000 for analysis

So 5k fuel will give 20k gross
Now at the new price 5.4litres of fuel is 2637 naira

With 2637naira worth of fuel you as a driver should make times 4 which is 10,500naira

Therefore for every 2637naira worth of fuel you should gross 10500naira
So if you should buy 10k worth of fuel you should be able to make 4times that amount before you think of refueling

You will not truly understand this till you hit the road

My two cents

You too much , I dey always feel you grin
Tell them… some have been complaining since 2018 and still complaining till now grin

Hope you’ve increased your rental fee too
It should be 60k per week. since drivers now make 90k per day sleeping in millions

You're a bastard and will continue to be!
I am silent for a reason I made a post, got the answers I needed, I've taken actions
Needless for me to keep dragging the matter
I wonder why ur dumb brain won't understand this and rest!

Efulefu

Oga silent reader. See your post below. What reason could you have gotten to bring such a story up except you didn’t know who your mentor, his telegram group and your new driver really were.

dav1002:
As a car owner with two cars, using one for the hustle and been among the silent readers association on nairaland
Joined a telegram group here to learn how to increase my earnings by a veteran here who many folks look up to and mentors
After some months in the hustle, saw a post from someone in the telegram group looking for a rental. The telegram group being a closed forum with like minds I posted also that I have a car lying idle and up for rental.
In my thinking I could use it to earn extra income through rentals
So the person dm'd me and we agreed for 30k weekly because from his posts he nets huge and puts in the time so I thought he is ideal for the position
We met signed all relevant document and the car was given. After months I discovered this person was the same person that created this telegram group but used an alternate line to strike this rental deal. Inotherwords he has two numbers on the platform. That means I've been partnering with my mentor 😢

I hope you’ve clarified your issues with the new driver and not tomorrow we will start hearing another new story from your mouth undecided

I didn't pack more than the accepted kg....I weighed from home as well.....for Qatar....you can add a laptop bag to your baggage...but must be strictly laptop or any educational content..books or stationaries...any other thing in that extra bag will be removed.

Welldone jare...na u be the Uber agent grin
Abeg give us update on this your S40, corolla don too cost and Hyundai/Kia aren't so strong for this business.

Cost of suspension parts links 6k 8k, back 6k a pair.
Ball joint comes with the lower arm assembly (ball joint, lower arm, 2 bushes) Tọks 12K (over a year ago) I'll update you on it cos I'll be needing it soon. Spring 8k( 1 side, bought about a month ago)
Shocks tọks over a year ago, 12k but it kept failing so I bought new for 55. No issues since. Back shocks used to be 7k for both, last month I got 1 side for 12k.
Shafts too, this one don stress me wella cos thy keep failing and I refuse to use the car with that shaft click and vibration, so I kept changing them once I hear or feel it, Tọks 12k. Saving for new ones 130k each, buying and shipping.

Any overheating issues? Overheating, fan fault only, changed the fan a few times, bad module, bad motor and cracked blade. The different reasons for each change. Aha, one of the coolant hoses cracked, leaking coolant, overheating. But I always catch it when the gauge starts to climb so it's never overheated.

How strong is the AC? Used to be fantastic, rarely needed to go beyond level 5 of 18 (for extremely hot day) but Naija hand don enter. Condenser 15k, compressor 40/50k

Any gear issue? None yet. Gear is 80k when I asked

How much is d engine? 250 300 I think, used to be 200ish

All these na pre bulaba o.

Parts and expertise is the problem. The really good mechanics are always busy, you literally have to book days ahead. Most parts, where available, are Tọks and can be hit and miss. And you have to get to Daleko every damn time, this is particularly annoying.

For little things I can order from abroad, I order whenever I have someone coming from there.

But, I love the car as much as I did when I just got it.

Abeg no vex for the plenty questions
