Calling Nigeria a poor country is false and misinformation. To be candid, Nigeria is neither rich nor poor.

According to the World Bank, Nigeria is a middle-income country and belongs to the group the body calls "the world’s Middle-Income Countries (MICs)".

That's the factual statement. Nigeria is not a poor or low-income country, and this is quite obvious in the lifestyle of our leaders.

List of the world’s Middle-Income Countries (MICs) by the World Bank: https://data.worldbank.org/country/XP
List of the world’s Low-Income Countries (LICs) by the World Bank: https://data.worldbank.org/country/XM

People should stop peddling misinformation for political reasons to deceive the gullible.
And what's the population of these our leaders relative to the country's entire population?

How is that relevant to the topic? The World Bank report settles any argument about poor or low-income countries and middle-income countries of the world. The data is on those sites above.

You don't argue with data, hard facts.

Even Lord Monerozi the warden of the north had to humbly proclaim: My guy El Rufai don fvck up

Which one be warden of the north? grin

That was a very insensitive and provocative statement by El Rufai sha, but based on his antecedents maybe one should not be surprised.

It however does not change the truth of the electoral calculation in the Tinubu camp. A Northern Christian running mate for Tinubu
would have handed the election to Atiku.

The lopsided nature of the country makes it that way. I have stayed here before. Once you select a Southern Muslim candidate it becomes difficult not to have a Muslim-Muslim ticket. Even Abiola who had an obvious edge over Tofa could not overcome that fact.

The Christians have a right to ask questions, but Tinubu in his own part has a right to avoid political suicide and choose the running mate that gives him the best chance to win.

P.S On a good day El Rufai is an agitator and provocateur who should not be anywhere near government, but if they kick him out he might cause more chaos from the outside.

All this talk too long.

In this issue right now, did buhari steal money or he was aware that we used 300m dollars to wrap a plane that cost 106m to buy..

Leave Buhari out of this. The Nigeria Airways was a project since 2018. Buhari thought it wise to start it on a clean slate. He approved some money and paid ex workers of Nigeria Airways after 15 years. So many people lost their job when it was liquidated in 2003.

Buhari handed the project to the guys in charge of the aviation to make sure it works. They didn't do a good job and you are saying Buhari stole money.

You can't exempt Buhari from blame for the poorly executed projects of his government. He takes the praise for good projects and gets the blame for bad ones like Nigeria Air.

The fact is, Buhari, Seriki Integrity, ran the most corrupt government in Nigeria's history. Under his watch, the country fell deeper and deeper into the abyss of corruption.

The former minister should be held accountable if he is found wanting. He has so many explanation to do. It was Buhari's idea for Nigeria Airways to start flying again.

Who appointed this former minister? So what you want is for Buhari to be praised for good projects and be exempted from blame for bad ones?

Would you have credited Nigeria Air to that former minister if it had turned out well?

Why not. He promised it to start flying. He handled it to people to make sure it works. The people saddled with the project failed.

You have a project. You handled the project to people. The project worked. Won't you take the praise for it.?

I am not even expect you to say anything good about Buhari because some of your comments here is full of hatred towards Northerners. You don't like Northerners and all.

Buhari wants it to happen. Minister failed.

Have you ever handled something to someone and he failed?

Today it is only those naturally gifted or brilliant that will come out of public schools and be able to try to compete. The Environment alone is enough to Fk them over.

I remember when I was in secondary school, it was a federal government boarding school, we were engaged in Olympiad competition, I was one of the best students in mathematics, in my school, so I chose mathematics.
I passed the first stage and was preparing for the second stage, I read seriously for it with our regular mathematics textbook, only for me to get to the venue of the second stage, and I saw other students from posh schools holding a particular textbook, i asked someone to let me look at it, and it was an Olypiad mathematics textbook, the person told me that how come I am not aware of it, that their school provided the contestants with all the necessary materials, tutoring, textbooks, past questions etc. While my school only provided us transportation to the venue grin
I wrote the exam and most of the questions were beyond the scope of our regular textbooks, I nearly cried that day, all the effort and sleepless night was a waste.

The story is PAINFUL. and that is the sad reality. It is also the reality of public universities. You go to unilag and use drawing board as architect. Do paper machie building. Then you enter labour market and meet your mates using revit and doing arch visualization.

It's always Buhari's appointees that should take the blame for his failures but when they succeed Buhari takes the praise. It's too early to start the day with this kind of double standard.

You'd think this is simply typical Monerozi, but it was legit Buhari's governance philosophy. When it's a success or looks like a success, he rushes to cut ribbon, but once it's failed projects, he'd unlook as if the failure wasn't happening under his government.

Our guy is just like the typical northerner. They support each other both in good and evil.

In Lagos, when a northerner is accosted of committing an offense, his fellow northerners support him naturally without caring about justice.
