Add badagry.

You get your freedom on the day you get prepaid metre. That metre makes them to sit up. No light-no salary era for the wicked NEPA staff.

I don't even know sir,I'm thinking it's cos of the new bill that was signed that private individuals and companies can now generate and transmit power.....It will make the power sector competitive.
So the bill just started generating, transmitting and distributing power?

Since Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was sworn in, I've been enjoying 24/7 constant power supply.

If they take it,it won't be up to 5 minutes before they bring it back.

Matter of fact,I'm tired of the light 😂🤣😅

How's the power situation in your area?

This is a mumulized topic. You got thousands of Nigerian villages and towns without electricity...why is it fuçking hard for supposedly giant of Africa to attain the level of uninterrupted power supply?

My present location is nothing to write.

So I ask: what are we really enjoying/flexing as Nigerians? Is this how we live? Life's too short. These men at the helms should well because we are here today, tomorrow we are no more.

I'm tired...I really tired of this country.
Lolz,
u stated villages without light,
Do the villagers informed you that electricity is a priority to them??
Lets try to appreciate improvements.

The so called 24hrs light you're enjoying comes at a cost to other regions.

As long as it was not stated that Tinubu and his "none existing ministers" added more megawatts of power to the existing megawatts, it's a case of robbing Peter to pay Paul.

Men to be honest it has improved, like seriously improved. We had light for 6 days at a stretch without blinking. Before they took it and brought it back almost immediately.

The only problem I'm faced with now is that my prepaid meter's units is horribly dropping each day with reckless abandon. embarassed

Power supply has seriously improved on Lagos mainland. I don't know for other parts of Nigeria.

Except you have a non-inverter AC that is on 247, your units shouldn't be dropping with such speed. At the same time, be grateful for that prepaid meter. Without it, you won't see light.

Yes, its the fault of distribution companies. They refuse to buy transformers needed for distribution. So, power is diverted elsewhere.

O P,God bless you for this Sector you just mentioned! For it's the most important Sector that Tinubu MUST Get Right, for if Power Improved drasticaly- say 90%,then there would be flurry of Manufacturing Activities in NIGERIA.
-In fact,60% of the Problems of Nigeria would have been solved! For instance,Small and Medium Scale Businesses will reduce Youths Unemployment seriously!
-In Ikorodu Area such as Grammar School, Radio,Erunwen,Garage, Obafemi Awolowo Rd Areas, etc, the Ikeja Disco - will give Light for some hours during the day but has refused to bring Light at Night, yet will bring full Estimated Bills on Monthly basis. Everyday, Lights must be Off! Shameful!

Now it's confirmed that Nigerians are mad and have a pattern.

I remember just like yesterday in 2015, this same question was asked on this same nairaland and it made frontpage too....when buhari took over power. Now you guys have started again.

Who did this to Nigerians grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

Why are some Nigerians so dumb and stupid? This was exactly what happened within Buhari’s one month in office. I was called all sorts of names when I tried to educate them why the electricity seemed stable. @OP, pls revisit your question after January nex year. Before then, I wish you good luck

this is what is called wailing which should be happening to a reasonable person reading through public forum. why take the topic personal? tinubu is just on of the factors that will have made the power situation to improve.

besides, since you know very surely that tinubu was not responsible for improvement you could have ignored the topic because nobody, so far, has written that tinubu visited one of the Nigerian power plants and used his magic hand to touch the engines which has refused to stop running since his touch

aproko people.

tinubu four years is just starting and continuous bad belle can results in ulcers in the stomach. better be advised to desist.
