You see in your last line, you are the one that inputted court into the statement, the exact words he used was "unnecessary illegal order".

Moreover the statement said "unnecessary things illegal order will no longer be tolerated". You yourself said the judiciary has its process of disciplining erring judges, what makes you assume that is not the process the "not tolerated" means?

If you say the statement is a threat, threat to who? Chief judge or who?

The first paragraph of the statement said something about vibrant judiciary. The concluding part where you have the order statement follows from there. It wasn't me who inputed court into the statement. It was implied from the first paragraph

My point is you are rejoicing over frivolity and celebrating mediocrity.

We should only celebrate results of deliberate and calculated government interventions.

Now you are just being disingenuous.

You are trying to speak from both sides of your mouth.

I was celebrating the news that the suspension of the CBN Governor will not have a negative impact on the market as some people were speculating.

It’s not my fault If you continue to see negativity in everything including Good news.

For me, it's actually a wrong way to look at the world. Many people care more about the world they live in that the benefits to self.

His ultra focus on self EVEN TO the detriment of society is in my view a wrong outlook to society to have.
That's why some people join the military in times of war to secure and defend their nation.
Or people deciding to become vegetarians because they care for things other than themselves.

I think they should be a healthy balance between caring for self and caring for your society and environment at large. Caring about leaving the world a better place than you found it. That's my own opinion.

The idea of caring only about self and nothing else is an extremely selfish worldview and one that makes the world an uglier place.

But you implied it, it wasn't there in the statement which means it can lead to different interpretations.

So explain how unnecessary illegal order is a threat and what type of threat it is.

.......happy democracy day.

Many civil servants across several Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) including the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) and Office of the Accountant General of the Federation (OAGF) have been suspended for alleged salary padding on the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System (IPPIS).

An Assistant Director at the OAGF in charge in charge of staff’ salary was alleged to have connived with some staff to pad up the salaries of unspecified number of lower level staff.

Tinubu today has signed the student loan bill into law. The bill seeks to provide interest free loans to indigent Nigerian students.

The bill was sponsored by Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila.

I can't wait to read the content of the bill and the framework to make it work.

Those that will be ineligible to enjoy the student-loan bill signed by PBAT;

• those of you owing Palmpay, Kuda and other organizations
• those of you convicted of a felony or any offence involving dishonesty or fraud
• those of you found guilty of exam malpractice by any school authority

Let me add that repayment of the loan will be two years after completion of NYSC and it would be by direct deduction of 10% of the beneficiary’s salary at source by the employer.

Where the beneficiary is self-employed, he shall remit 10% of his total profit monthly.

They rolled out tanks that day on Mobolaji Bank Anthony way. Gunshots everywhere. Bodies on the road. I cannot forget it.

The next time we saw the violence again was in 2000. Agege abbatoir is a 20 minute walk from my father's house. Local Ab0ki were rioting on behalf of their kin in Kano and Kaduna and killed some Yoruba guys in the area. OPC at the height of Gani Adams and Frederick Faseun were vexing and killed a bunch of Ab0ki. Police would come in raiding van and shoot everybody.

We couldn't sleep one night because we could see the flames and smoke Ab0ki burning houses a couple miles away. OPC boys shouting (Oodua!) Rallying local support in the neighbourhood for a defence attempt. My dad was one of two on our road who had a firearm, and so went to stand at the gate of our street with niggas holding cutlass, axe, etc.

Myself and siblings climbed up to water tank area onto of the house to hide. The Ab0kis came and skirmished with bow and arrow, cutlass and sticks etc, and were chased away with bullets in bodies, and at least 2 niggas dead. The next day police came to carry my dad to Area G. We didn't see him for a couple of days, but he found his way home.

In 2002, there were 2 riots in the area. Local Ab0ki in early January were supporting some riots happening elsewhere in Lagos I think in Festac or so, and killed one egbon adugbo. The reprisal was brutal. I witnessed a malo dude get hacked to actual pieces on our street. His hand was in the gutter.

Then the Miss World Riot happened again. Abule-Egba stank for weeks. What is now a JustRite used to be thick Bush on some partly fenced land. They were pulling bodies out of there almost everyday.

You're talking about the freedom fighters that lost their lives to pro-democracy violence. The truth of the matter is that the overwhelming majority of the violence that I witnessed was completely and utterly senseless, without rhyme or reason, completely devoid of any rationality.

Violence in Nigeria is extremely ugly, has no boundaries, and is usually a free for all. When it starts, it's very hard to stop.

Any ediot calling for some sort of violence cannot have seen what the Nigerian brand of violence looks like.
