I hope it's not a bias thing, but what did Rochas build that is
1. complete
2. of reasonable quality
3. defunct or not working at the moment
Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Nchenches: 9:44am On Jun 14, 2023
Rochas administration, especially, the first three years: every village, town and city in Imo state boomed in peace and government development. Scores of new roads joining every LGA facilitating business.
Ohakim and Uzodinma administration: tears and blood flow; worse in Uzodinma - exodus of people and commerce from Orlu and now Okigwe zones. No government development in the two areas.
In fact, Uzodinma government is run by many people who ran Ohakim government.

The Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma has flagged off the 2023 Imo Muslims Pilgrimage for Hajj.

The Governor appreciated the Muslim community in the State for their understanding and reassured them of continued peace for all.

Some of the beneficiaries took turns in prayer and showering encomia on the Governor for assisting their spiritual Prosperity and celebrating with them.

According to one of the speakers, “I am the only person in ideato that will go to haji, sponsored by the State Government.

They added that it has been over 10 years since any administration ever sponsored the hajj pilgrimage.

While assuring the Governor of their support for his second term bidding, they also prayed that God will provide the necessary support the Governor needs for his continuation as the next Governor of the State come November 11th.

You're still stuck with man made religion? Like all these Muslim will go to hell, infidel Christians, pentico are real Christians, Catholics worship Mary and all that?
Because that's exactly the undertone of your alarm.
Prove me wrong.

Bruuz, explain better what you are up to here.
Did you mean that it's good to use funds of IMSG to sponsor Muslim pilgrims to Mecca?
Unchecked flood carry away people and houses in my Orlu hometown as IMSG cannot complete the urban drainage system started by former governor Amadi Ikwechegh.
Loads of people who live in Orlu are from Gov Hope Uzodinma's Orueast local government area.

Not many of us grew up in your Owerri Metropolitan city; so don't continue with your idea of Owerri is all there is in Imo state.
I, for example, grew up in my beloved city of Orlu; I don't know most of the places you mentioned in Owerri.

Imo State is nearly 98% Christian population; so if IMSG uses say, N15m, to sponsor 20 Imo Christian pilgrims to the Middle East, it's in order. But if IMSG uses N15m to sponsor 20 Imo Muslim pilgrims to the Middle East, it becomes outrageous.

Lol. I'm right after all.
This is what happens when you become too emotional. You are quick to justify allocations for your own faith because you are owners of the state, even if it means stealing from tax payers

What fun? Owerri is the only thing that counts for you whenever discourse is about Imo state. Once an Imo state governor repairs and builds broad streets and drainage systems in Owerri but ignores rest of the state to decay, as the situation is now, such a governor, for you, is the best Imo state ever had.

Lol. Bro. I'm from okigwe zone.. but you'll never see me here complain about neglect of the zone, because I know a lot of our sons are quietly building up their communities and the multiplying effect is what you have now; non imo indigines living on rents. I gat okigwe zone at my finger tips because they host both my paternal and maternal homes.

Nobody from Orlu zone is complaining, don't mind this person. There are many mental configurations that make people repeat themselves over and over. Orlu has had more governors than any zone, 99% of what this man is complaining about was done by an Orlu man. Owerri is a special city and the rise of Owerri is the rise of Imo.

Good you understand that 99% of what I complain against were made by governors from Orlu zone.
In 2019, a principal secretary to then gov Ihedioha scolded politicians from Orlu zone for governing Imo state for too long but could not point to any modern city in their Orlu zone. The principal city in Orlu zone got worse since Hope Uzodinma became governor.
Okorocha started urban renewal in Orlu but didn't complete the work before he joined APC and faced urban renewal of only Owerri.
Of the scores of dilapidated urban roads in Orlu, Uzodinma government reconstructed only one in 4 years. If you are truly from Orlu zone and not complaining, nwanne, we need to reexamine your head.

People from Orlu zone will continue to relocate to Owerri zone unless Orlu is made livable by IMSG.
Nearly half of the population of Imo indigines living in Owerri zone are from Orlu zone. But you can hardly find anyone from Owerri zone living in Orlu zone. In fact, most of the people from Owerri zone don't know where Orlu and Okigwe are situated. Relocation of people from Orlu zone to far away areas in Owerri, including Ofuruola, Ezi Obodo, Ejemekwuru, Ngor Okpala, and approaching Ikwerre border, is accelerating now.
Governors from Orlu zone are slapping and punishing their own people.

If something is brought to Orlu zone you will complain it wasn't your town. If your town you will complain it wasn't your clan, your clan you will complain it wasn't your family, your family you will complain it wasn't you.

Stop trying to use 'orlu zone' to make up for your lack of achievement in life. Go accomplish things, Orlu Zone is not waiting for you to complain for us. If you were busy accomplishing things you wouldn't sound like this

There is nothing you or anyone can do to change nature: Orlu urban LGA is the principal city of Orlu senatorial zone. That's the only city which had nearly the same level of urban development with Owerri when Imo state was created.
You can come from Orlu zone but don't subscribe to urban renewal for Orlu by IMSG, but fact is that so long the infrastructures in this city is not restored, or new ones built, so long you and people of Orlu senatorial district will continue to migrate to Ofuruola, Ezi Obodo, Ngor Okpala etc in Owerri zone to settle.

Weeds are over-growing in your hometown you abandoned to settle in Owerri for piimp bussiness.

If asking for IMSG to reconstruct the urban infrastructures in Orlu is being mad, I will get more mad.

I remember number 1, 4,5,

6,I was in GTC from JSS 1-3 and transferred to holy Ghost college.

When I was in JSS 2 in GTC we fought with Emmanuel college boys.

In my SS 2 in holy Ghost we fought with GTC in old stadium. And we also gathered in front of government college one time to fight. And GTC boys were there too,

7,Mr Biggs close to government college was the first fast food that came to Owerri , and I remember the manager coming to our assembling ground to warn us to stop coming to the restaurant like it's a museum.
So me and my boys restrategize by wearing mufti when we are going there.

9

11 ojimgbo girls are Owerri girls. We and them walk back home together after school in holy Ghost.

12 is that tall slim man that wear suits and also hold walking stick.

13 Garden park(everyone know that Wella our own business centre)

Modotel is now current Rockview hotel

15) Channel o opposite Jeveniks. That's where as a ss2 student we used to come to at like we belong.
16) Azu NEPA is where we go to fck Ashawoo

Colonel Tanko zubairo was the governor of the State.

22) UZZI spring water, what comes to my mind is Mbaise road

27, federal girls. I was too timid to woe girls then. But we all meet each other in Dan anyiam stadium during inter school sports. Or match past for children day or so.

I also remember ceasers place, that's where we play PlayStation and snooker along MCC road. Few steps away from vandoz

I also remember silverbird cyber cafe opposite ITC gate.

I also remember poverty alleviation school bus by achike Udenwa.

Ikenegbu girls interhouse sports is always the fun place to be.
