You may need to go over your wife's visa application form again to be sure if what you filled there. If she chose otherwise, then send your SOA again and write a cover letter referencing what you filled on your wife's visa application form.

Or do I need to open another account and have a new fixed amount in new rate again and start counting 28 days again …

You can't just top up, you have to start counting the 28 days again and ensure you have enough buffer to cover any fluctuations in the rate.

It's okay, they aren't silly questions
.
You won't use their scanner and you can't send eCopy

With self service you have to scan the document and upload them yourself in the comfort of your home or office.

You must finish uploading all the necessary documents and submit them before going for your biometrics . If by any chance you omit any,you will have to take it to TLS to assist you and pay for the service there


It will make more sense when you get to that stage, I assume you haven't

Enter a reputable bank and ask for their aboki. He will tranfer to your account or some one else does. But make sure the Bank confirms your reciept of the equivalent.

My Question is, say MA has 16Million in his account and that doesn't cover him eventually, can he also upload the dependent’s bank statement that covers his remaining balance? Ofcourse, Dependant will write the appropriate consent letter.

Checking the OANDA rate again on the 16th of June, my financial requirements needs 300,000k more and I can't put more there anymore. And I have applied for my visa within 24hours frame. I will go for biometrics on Wednesday.

Please what should I do.

Should I cancel application or stop the biometrics. This FX really disturbed me.

Stop misleading people. That rate is for payment of services at the consulars, it has nothing to do with immigration. DONT FOLLOW THIS ADVISE GUYS

Everyone, please be very vigilant especially if you have gotten a decision but it's taking longer than usual to get your passport back. I know they will tell you to wait 10 working days after getting decision before you will get your passport but THAT IS NOT NORMAL! We all know it doesn't take that long to get your passport back. People that get a decision on the 13th working day usually get collection mail on the 15th working day.

Today made it 10 working days after decision/brp letter and I hadn't gotten my passport. I called British High Commission Abuja customer care and the staff that took my details called my mobile line later that night and was demanding 50k before he could track my passport for me. I did my bio since the first week of August so, the past 8 weeks have been from one battle to another. Luckily, my friend told me yesterday that she had a family friend in BHC so I quickly gave her my details. The feedback I got was that my passport had basically been abandoned! UKVI didn't even bother to inform BHC to print my visa. It was my friend's family friend that sent an email to UKVI and they finally approved it that same yesterday. My visa was printed and was dispatched by DHL today!!! Due to their negligence, I have already missed a lot in school and I will still miss classes of next week and a bit of upper week because one-way flight tickets for this coming week are showing 2M and above.

All I'm saying is that be vigilant! It's not normal for our passports to just be sitting in BHC office collecting dust. Infact, if it's taking longer than 3 days after decision, start sending emails and blasting them with calls. BHC o, UKVI o, all of them are incompetent!!!

I paid for my IHS and VISA fee last week Wednesday before this OANDA RATE INCREASE but I didn't upload my statement of account (POF). My biometrics appointment is on Monday 26th. As at the day I paid my IHS and VISA fee, the money in my account was enough for my POF .. My confusion now is that some people keeps saying that as long as biometrics has not been done, that the rise in OANDA will affect me while others say it's the rate at d day I paid my VISA fee that I should be judging with.. Please can someone enlighten me because I don't know which to believe again
