That's for new student, we all know new students pay more than returning students.

Check for returning students for the same 2022/2023 session.

Nursing is 135k and Medicine is 166k.

Check it.

That's incorrect please. The National Judicial Commission makes recommendations for a vacant position and the President/Governor assent to it.

If you are claiming that our judges are not appointing on merits, you will have to bring examples.

So it's a coincidence that all the wives, mistresses and daughters of politicians made it as judges?

This is for 200 level.

And yes, it's still subsidized.

Go and check how much Private Uni are charging and then compare.

Funny enough. From 300-600l pays lower than 200 level students which means they have different fees for 100l, 200l and from 300l upwards.

If they check the AAU website, they will see that the tuition fees for 100l nursing students for 2022/23 is actually not listed.

There's an acceptance fee of 70k listed for 100l nursing students, but no tuition fees.

Did your dad's lawyer tell you this? I will like to know his 'under the tree' chamber. 😄

You think those questions of the witness being an LP candidate and having sued INEC before, were asked for fun? LP lawyers were stupid to have brought a member of the party to stand as an expert witness, not even officially sent by her company, AWS. Court will use her papers to wrap Akara.

grin
You are a clown.

Olanipekun found out early that no need to stress an already tainted witness ( ask your dad's lawyer for meaning), that's why he was taunting her. I will prefer a more intelligent Obidient to continue from where you stopped. You are too dull on legal matters.

So you know better than LP SANs that brought her, or hat she already stated in her statement that she contested primaries?

So you mean I spent the whole of yesterday pouring sense inside your empty basket head? Up till now nothing, complete empty head, no knowledge acquired or retained. How dare you waste my time? Look, I have little patience for dummies. Next time let me know you are a dullard before any conversation.

I think that's the amount AAU has been charging since tho for their 100l students, maybe that's why the guy posted that.

So what you are saying is that anyone who is lawyer and his spouse is to go into public service, their own career should not progress right?

Odili rose to the rank of Justice of the Supreme Court, she has been on the bench for over 35yrs, how long did Odili hold executive power? Was she made a judge during Odili tenure as Governor?

I'm not denying that theres no influence in appointing judges anyways but it comes from the NJC.

So the only way they are not compromised is if they announce Obi winner of the election?
That's one way.

It's similar to when opposition party wins election the election is considered free and fair.

However, let the judiciary look at the evidence and weigh them. Let them not use technicalities to twist judgement and deny justice.

If Tinubu duly and fairly won, let it be. If not, let the true winners be granted justice.

You are just like those wack lawyers that even the judges were always shouting at and correcting their stupid actions in court. They have been apologizing such that one would even be thinking they are deliberately working against Obi.

Just as you didn't know that counsels could object and subsequently give reasons in their addresses, you didn't know we have types of witnesses with different demands.

As an Obidient, I was never in support of Tinubu all through the campaign period till election day and even after the election. I was a bonafide BATman Villain.
But based on the things I've seen the man done in this past few weeks, I'm kinda glad he won.

One of the few things that made me impressed is his speed at work and also implementing the most controversial and difficult policies first.

One thing I will praise the man for and anyone who did it, whether na Obi or even Atiku is the sack and arrest of that mad man Emefiele. That man basically brought the Nigerian economy to shambles with useless and stupid policies and policy reversals. Man made himself available for political manipulation. Dude even become more popular and important than the finance minister sef.

Some of this BAT policies, while harsh and will impact people negatively (for the main time) it's needed.

Subsidy removal is sorely needed. We're all going to suffer for it but we'd be in a better place in the future. How can a country be spending #12tn on subsidy as at 2022, while last year's budget was just #17tn? Which Kain stupidity be that one. We were basically voting our funds and future for consumption.
Debts — we can't repay. Projects — we can't fund and need to borrow. Revenue — is burdened with debt servicing and whatnots to the tune of about 90% of revenue. WTF!!
The naira continues to plummet as subsidy is a major catalyst for continued devaluation since no Forex to back the naira.
Then there's also the CBN that was literally printing money for Buhari with their #23tn ways and means loan to fund the budget. How do you now come and control inflation when you basically gassing it up. Little wonder our inflation rate is at a record over 22%.

On floating of the naira, it's welcome to me. Cos how many people, manufacturers, importers and producers could access the CBNs #450 peg? If a whole Dangote and BUA the industrial giants of our country with size and scale can't access funds easily at FG's rate, then what is the hope for the smaller companies, MSMEs and individuals.

That official rate is a waste of space to me cos if CBN ain't supporting your project you're literally fvvked to source it from the black market. Emefiele basically encouraged round tripping, cos who tolerates that sort of margin between the official rate and parallel market. It was always a few exploiting this and making huge profits from it.
Now anyone can go to the bank and access funds for meaningful things.

That stupid failed redesign of naira and the hardships and unfortunate death of some Nigerians deserve serious jail term for Emefiele and his ilk. In case, people don't know that policy slowed Nigeria's GDP growth by 3% or thereabouts.
Recently some companies were posting financial reports and some of them recording losses were all posting the impact of the naira shortage in Q1.
How do you grow economy and production with this poorly thought out policies.

Do you know how much Forex in funds repatriation is trapped in Nigeria because the CBN held on to the cash because if those monies left the country it would be disastrous to the economy?
$2bn is trapped across airlines worldwide. Inside that amount, Nigeria accounts for over $800mn of airlines funds trapped in the country. Because of this Emirates airlines has ceased to operate in the country for 8 months or so.

If foreign companies see this, who the fvvk is stupid enough to come and invest when they can't repatriate funds on ROI easily after investment? Why do you think FDI continuously decreased to disastrous levels in Buhari's regime. Nigeria that was battling for the top FDI destination back in 2015 with the likes of Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania.

With the floating of the naira, see excitement everywhere and how Nigeria is looking like a FDI destination with the policy. Nigeria has all the potential to be #1 destination for FDI in Africa because of our population, low level of development saturation, low industrialization and very young populace. But stupid economic policies like the ones our immediate presido ran can never let anyone come in unless they entertain high risks doing business here.
Let the naira float and market forces do the rest. It will stabilise and regulate itself indue time. It will drop or increase depending on the policies the govt put in place and performance of the economy.

We'll suffer for some time but If the govt embark on smart policies, the impact might be reduced and we might be better for it.

The one that crowned it all for me is this recent appointments. See the way e sweet my belle. If Tinubu like let him appoint ALL our Southern brothers including peeps from the East, e no concern me if North cries marginalisation or not. I'm in full support.

He's even considerate that his security apparatus looks balanced and I commend him for it. If not dem for shed tears.

Buhari led a nepotistic_ govt and this people never bat an eyelid. What's good for the goose is also good for the gander.
If na me, almost all top ministerial positions are going to the South. Na those assistant minister dem go see representation.

The experience and quality of education defer. You went to a private university, you surely cannot comprehend some of the things those that attended federal or some state universities face.

Thankfully the state uni I went to dont usually admit alot of students yearly, for example in my faculty management science, Accounting (my set) had the highest intake and we were around 110 or so, banking and finance was 40+, I'm not even sure if Business administration was up to 40. So I cant really relate with alot of those that went to public uni and attend class in a crowded hall because for 90% of the time I was in Uni, my experience wasn't so except for the GNS and French lectures that we have combined class.

We had lecturers that were teaching 3 or more departments which most times make some of them miss classes due to exhaustion. Our own department lecturer were not even up to 5, we share the rest with Banking n Finance.

When I was President of my department and went to Redeemers Uni to talk to their own Accounting department President, I realise that we are lagging behind a lot. While their own association chapter was recognized by ICAN, ACCA and the likes and they attend their conferences and all, we have no such privileges. Infact the seminar that I held while I was President and invited the then ICAN President, he didnt come and sent Osun State Chapter Chairman for the event.

They (Redeemers) also had many lecturers compared to us, they also have relaxation areas, sporting complex, a big library that makes ours (That we usually use to make mouth) looks like a joke.

All these are part of what differentiate the experiences that those that attended my school and Redeemers uni will get.

Oh...for clarity

I don't think anybody here is actually 100% against subsidy removal....but the timing and indifferences of d FG over the plight of the common man.
An FG would try to make sure that d devastating effect is not felt too much by rolling out measures as little as he can...otherwise a batch removal would be much appreciated
As far as we knew, about 800m us dolls was borrowed for a reason.

2)A free floating fx would actually result to inflation b4 it stabilises,,,Activating it even when the subsidy inflation wound is still being managed is actually stretching the common man's elasticity.

3)No comment on d tuition fees/students loan? Tuition fees kick starts by September. As it stands now for student loan, a drafted script has been carried by virtually almost all the news outlets and the ingredients in it is extremely too peppery to d common man and this might eventually break him.

Attachments:What is the reason for 7.5% vats on diesel even when the stretched common man is almost dead.

Attachments(2): I think as the number 1 Man,there must be something that must be done to upcoming 40% electricity saga cos it all boils down to d common man's pocket.....

Don't forget that A Nigerian politicians can never be trusted with patience

His appointment, seems appealing due to the fact of clipping d northerners' wings but accolades should be reserved for their displays in their respective offices...

As for Emefiele, even d devil wil definitely remove him and I think he was even to slow to act self...

In all,,,this isn't about obidients..Agbadorians or Atikulated but about Nigerians and every fingers (good or bad) must be pointed to our FG who happens yo be BAT...People are crazily suffering

It is subsidized because it's still the govt funding the schools which is why the tuition is low and can't give us what we deserve. The standard of education in the public uni is not the same with private uni.

In the breakdown of our fees, tuition is 45k, it was all other fees that add up to make it 95k.

All the money I paid for my 4yrs to study Accounting is not up to the money someone in Redeemers University pay in a year to study the same Accounting.

Lets do this.
What do you think your experience in university will actually be worth.
Lets assume it is subsidised.
What would do you think your fees will be with everything you experienced?
