Hello @duchess and all. Due to the high rate of onada now have got some some questions.

1. I started pof for me and my dependent but due to the sudden increase in Oanda rate I can’t use the statement for both of us. So I intend using two accounts in my name for my application and start afresh for my dependant.

2. Can I start her pof in her own account or I should just top up one of my account.


3. If I’m starting her own pof in her account. Does that mean I have to submit the two accounts I used for my self in case they he eco decides to ask for my own pof just to be sure we didn’t recycle funds.

4 or should just add more to her pof so has to cover her own maintenance and whatever deficient that didn’t allow me to use the pof I mentioned in question 1 ??

Usually, yes. The schools usually want to be sure that you've held the money for 28 days as stipulated by UKVI in order for them to reduce your chances of a refusal.

Please my POF matured today(28days). I started from 25th May to June 22 but i intend to use 26th may to June 22, hope I'm still on track....
My closing balance is 15,120,455 and checking oanda rate today is 14,858,680 after adding my remaining tuition fee of 7250 + 9207 maintenance fee.... My question is
1. Am I good to go as I will be applying today.
2. My POF is in my husband account although and he will be applying later next month because he went on a business trip but he's using another POF entirely.. and he also plan to submit my POF alongside with his when applying for his own to avoid recycling....
3. Hope there is no problem using my husband's account as he will writing a consent letter to back it up...

Does the 2 account 28days have to run concurrently? Can I start counting for the other account let say a week after the first one started counting. Please your response will be greatly appreciated

Not sure because i'm trying to pay 7k too and i initiated it april 12th and it was approved on the 14th and nothing was done Via zenith bank .... I want to terminate it ... I called everyday even after the policy was put in place and they kept telling me not to worry until i went there yesterday and they told me they have scrapped the so called Fx allocation from the CBN and they won't refund me the monies for the forms they debited from my account... Had to cause a scene !

If you have the money, pay more tuition or start your POF all over again. You shouldn't give up on your dream like that.

My challenge here is am a partner to MA, for this sept addmision, both married legally with a 3 yr old son and 9 months old daughter by september.

Making me and my 2 kids a dependant to my wife the MA. The POF I did it's in the MAs account and is for the 4 of us before the exchange rate sage occurred.

However, the POF cannot sustain for 4 of us any longer which should matured to 28days by firstweek of July and the CAS statement has been issued in early June, if am to make a decision by leaving one of the children behind, is it me or the MA that would come and pick him/her before Dec 2023.? then how do I go about the application process when applying for the 3 that the POF could cover?,
Will I or the MA be allow to come back home around that time to pick him/her?
Which of them would be okay to leave behind?
Then, which POF account must I use, is it same as my wife the MA or I should start with a fresh acct.

Pls a very crucial suggestions would be really appreciated.

1. I was nominated by my employer to attend a full sponsored two weeks training in Canada but was refused a visa. This reason for denial was: "I am not convinced you are coming for a legitimate business". I have the letter.

2. My company's management met with the High Commissioner and sorted out the mixup. I have reapplied and gotten the visa. I also have the letter.

3. I am a dependent on my spouse visa application.

4. How best should I answer the question: "Have you been refused a visa?

Due to the fluctuating rate right now, my POF will not cover myself and 3 dependant.

Can I use the current POF as the main applicant for CAS? Then wait till the additional POF for my dependants is ready for the main visa application.

Or will the school require the full POF for myself and my dependants before issuing CAS?
