One day one day, you will reach a conclusion on what exactly I am. Whether a wannabe or the real deal - both of which una dey always use insult me.

If I am a wannabe woke person, does that not mean being woke is inherently a good thing? Or if being woke is a bad thing to y'all, then I am not a bad person if you believe I am forming woke. Like calling someone a wannabe wicked person.

Projections, a lack of comprehension and identity crises must be wacking you real bad for these utterances you make. 🤣

You are a distraction here, please.

You are only derailing this thread.

Does that make sense to you?

A Nigerian by birth can't lose its citizenship.

The process for a Nigerian by birth to lose its citizenship is long and tedious and it requires your application to be granted by the President of Nigeria.

Saraki has dual citizenship

I think Willie Obiano does also.

Moreover like you said, Hamzat clearly stated it in his INEC form that's he's a citizen of USA.

You can renounce your citizenship boss. Certain countries (like the Netherlands) have that as a prerequisite for Naturalization.

You’re right about the process being stressful (and mostly not a good idea) but it is possible

I don't think u are wrong and I don't think Larride is either.

I think from what I've read thus far, whatever oath Hamzat must have sworn while naturalizing as an American does not make him no longer a Nigerian. As far as naija constitution is cocerned, He is still a Nigerian despite holding an American passport alongside the green passport.

I may be wrong tho.

You are right. The only way a Nigerian by birth can lose his citizenship is if the president approves it. So as a Nigerian by birth the only way you can lose your citizenship is if you agree and the president agrees.

The question is can you be a dual citizen and still be a governor. The constitution seems to be muddled about it and it appears to me that you can’t, but it seems from precedence that is not the case.

Constitution is very clear. As long as you are a citizen by birth or birthed to Nigerian parents, you are allowed the right to hold dual citizenship and nothing bars you from holding a political office.

Saraki had the same issue and it died a natural death in 2015.

Yes it is possible but unless you actually go through the process, your citizenship stand even if you acquire another country citizenship.

You can hold elective position as long as you are Nigerian by birth even if you have dual citizenship. Example is Bukola Saraki who was born in the UK.

You only get disqualified if your Nigerian citizenship is by naturalization or registration.

Saraki was Governor with dual citizenship, when he became Senate President and APC wanted to use it against him, here is the position of the Supreme Court.

No. He is a very moderate and tolerant Muslim. I wish he will believe in Jesus even if he remains a Muslim.
We Muslim actually believe in Jesus (Issa a.w.s), just not the way Christians believe. To us he is a very powerful Prophet of Allah sent to the world to preach the oneness of Allah, and will return to Earth to kill the dajjal at the appointed time. No true Muslim will hate or don't believe in Prophet Issa (a.w.s).
PS:
This is not a debate ooh, cos i don't engage in religious debate/argument.

It's OK to believe all that. Those are mere religious beliefs which I don't have issues with religion.

I meant to believe that he you are saved by Him. undecided
