Most Igbos that excel academically are those that studied outside igboland! Something is fundamentally wrong! Even the processes of admission in most universities in the southeast are filled with corruption and lack of transparency! No regulation. Nothing! The so called intelligentsia can't live up to standards because they easily allow greed and quest for ill-gotten wealth get the better parts of them.

Primary and secondary schools alone can not determine the overall best in education
And that doesn't mean Yorubas are not doing well either

What about others doing better academically after secondary school, at the university and after university?
